I got my FPSV stroller yesterday, and of course it came without instructions. I thought I did a pretty good job of putting it together, but I have a few extra pieces and 2 unknown pieces. I am trying to attach several photos: 1) stroller and pieces as they were when delivered; 2) assembled stroller from side; 3) assembled stroller from front; (4, 5, and 6 in next post) 4) assembled stroller from back; 5) extra pieces (white), and 6) unknown pieces (black). I am not too concerned about the extras, as someone else on here mentioned having extras, but I just don't know what the black pieces (pic 6) are. I thought maybe they were part of the packaging, but when DH looked at it, he thought they were probably necessary for the stroller, but he didn't know how. Can anyone help?

I do like the stroller so far. However, I am no stroller aficionado, so I won't tell everyone else to run out and get one. But it seems smoother than my older two and has better shocks, and I love the pattern.

Thanks!

Maybe give Britax a call about the instruction sheet in the morning.

I loved the Cirus Dots pattern! :D

I miss my Safe Voyage Deluxe! :(

How does it fold up?

Can you repost the picture of the extra pieces? I can't see it. My DH put ours together, so I may be able to tell you later what your extra pieces are.

Did your box say "travel system"? I know of several people who bought just the stroller and it came in a "travel system" box, with no instructions. My theory is that either Britax or AlbeeBaby (if you got it there) split up the boxes and sold the stroller and infant seat separately. And guess which box ALL the instructions were in.

I hope you like your stroller! We haven't used ours a ton yet (not much use for it in Michigan winter ... ) but I love it so far. Very smooth ride, and easy to fold.

That's strange - I wonder what happened to my second post, the one with the pictures of the extra pieces. It doesn't matter now, though. I did call Britax and the woman there also seemed to think the black pieces were just packaging. She didn't have a stroller there she could look at, but she read me the list of parts from the manual (which they are mailing me), and there was no mention of the black parts. So I'm good.

When I ordered from Albee, I asked for a manual in the "comments" section of the order form, but oh well. My box does say "travel system" too. I guess if they had to separate the items, it's best that the car seat box gets the manual, but it would be nice if everyone could get it.

I used the stroller today and I really liked it. It's so much smoother than our other strollers (Graco Snugride travel system and some Babytrend lightweight stroller that pitches forward every time you hit a crack on the sidewalk). The only thing that wasn't great was that my toes sometimes bumped into the basket as I walked. I was wearing my big winter boots, though, so hopefully that won't be a problem when it's time to put the boots away. It folds well enough with one hand too. I do wish it snapped shut on its own like my Graco instead of having to fasten it closed with the clasp, but that's not a big deal. And it's so cute that I am going to try really hard not to let it get trashed. I hereby vow to never leave it out in the rain...

I think I had an older model of that stroller (or maybe just a different print :o)

Anyway, can you put your snugride on it securely?
