Does anyone know when babies r us or target will have the newer models with the new buckle and high weight limit for rf? I went the other day to check out the ma in my car and the sales associate had no idea about either. I want to get them from one of these two stores becuase I love the Brooke or Ashley pattern. The associate also said that the seats can be in a warehouse for months so by ordering online does it insure that I get a newer seat? I want the longest life for my money.

it seems like any Marathon with a DOM after 2/18/08 ought to have the new weight limit/buckle. The box states a month/year of manufacture (but not the exact date). If you get a box with 3/08 or later, you should be okay.
