View Full Version : Buying a "Returned" Regent...?!?

I got my confirmation yesterday from TinyRide.com for DS's Sahara Regent ($205/free shipping) but didn't open it until today. It says it's a "Returned" New Regent. :eek:
I tried calling them to cancel since I can get a non-returned one for a similar price during the sale. But they're closed today. Nowhere in the description does it say "Returned Item".

I would keep trying to call them or send an email back. I had a horrible experience with Tiny Ride last year when trying to order a Radian. I finally got a hold of the guy (Saul?) and it really seemed like it was a one-man shop. He did refund me my money (after I ordered, I received confirmation that they were back ordered by 6 months or something like that -- I ended up ordering through elitecarseats and got it two days) via PayPal but it was a hassle.
Because it's a low-key, small peanuts business I would keep pushing until someone got back to you.

Thanks - I did send an e-mail. I actually don't mind buying a returned item. But not when a new one can be had for the same price. :rolleyes:

I hope you can get in touch with them. I would at least want to know why it was first returned and if they made sure everything came back when the seat was returned.
(Just FYI - If you do decide to cancel this order, babycatalog.com has the Sahara Regent for $189.00)
