Does anyone have any tips on installing the RF tethers in an Odyssey? I want to install it in the middle row captains chair, in the middle. I can't seem to get the tether to catch the tether hidden in the seat and I have the seat reclined all the way back. OUCH! I'm killing myself here!

Thank you!

Hehe, I had a feeling of panic when I saw all those red "x's"

All the photos are back on there except for the last pictures. I will put that up there either tonight or tomorrow.

Thank you for updating the pictures! :) I didn't even realize you could do that with the tether.

Do you have any tips for the ones that go on the seat? I can't seem to get them clipped. Also, if you use the tethers, do you use the seat belt also?

Thanks again!

Denise

you can't get the latch cliped. the part that goes into the seat. make sure they are facing the right way first. one says driver side on it i think. then i found it easiest to make it as loose as it can go and pull the marathon as far to the front as you can. then find the latch with one hand and sqeeze and clip the latch with the other. then go around to the other side an do it. then take turns tightening them. if you do one side to fast the seat will be on an angle. hopes this helps you

You can only do that with Britax seats and Radian seat. They are the only one who allow RF tethering.

If you are talkning about attaching the LATCH strap to the Lower Anchors all you do is push the Marathon clip down on the lower anchor and it will clip.

You cannot use the seat belt and Lower Anchors together. You can only use one or the other. You can use Top Tether with a seatbelt install or Lower Anchor install. It is encourage to always use Top tethers as it reduces forward head excursion when FF.

I thought I may have been calling the anchors by the wrong name! OOPS!

I originally installed the seat in the middle row, passenger side but it caused too big of a blind spot! :(

Now I'm looking at your picture, your Marathon is on the drivers side? Is this correct?

I'm surprised this has turned into such a project but I can't wait until it's done. I'll have the seat inspected at my local sheriff's office, too.

Oh, the LATCH, since the straps slide on the black bar, I pulled them to the front of the seat (the foot side), is this correct? It dosn't look quite the same as your pic.

Thanks!!!!

Yea, I have my extra slack wrapped around that black bar, to make it look more "neat".

And yes, it is behind the driver in that particular picture.
