Marathon RF tether

I got my new marathon today and have a question. I found a place to tether it under the passangers seat of my 2007 Odyssey. The bar I currently have it tethered to is welded to the seat. I was double checking things and noticed that the bar does move with the seat when you slide the sit foward or backward. We do not move the seat it is always in the same position. Would it be okay to leave the marathon tether to that bar?

I would move it to where the vehicle seat bolts to the floor.

I would move it to where the vehicle seat bolts to the floor.

I can't get to that part easily as there are plastic trim pieces around the bolts to the floor.

Any other suggestions?
