:confused:i just installed a new britax bv rf in my 01 gmc yukon for my 23 mon old baby girl so that we had the ma as a second seat.....had to retire the old roundabout....... with that said i have two ques.?
first the install on the bvit is solid but it seems a bit crock-ed to me - probally from the teather point, is this o.k
and second what is the proper way to despose of old carseat so that someone can't use them ?

You are correct the tether will sometime cause the RF tethered seats to be a bit crooked. It is fine as ling as you had a secure install before attaching the tether and it is just a little.

The best way to destroy a seat is to cut ALL the staps into pieces. Then use a sawzall to cut the shell in half or take a sledge hammer to it. You can keep the cover and ebay it if it is in good shape or you can cut the cover up too.

thank you for the replay it is just a slight tilt.....my husband did not even notice..............
as for the roundabout i will use the hammer......sounds fun, i will do the same with the shild booster i pick up off the street yesterday...someone had a free sign on it and i crabbed it b-4 someone else did so it could not be used-----they r dangerous right

awesome job getting a nasty seat to destroy! My DH used to think I was crazy for that, now HE comes home with things he saw on the side of the road. I think he likes to help destroy them :ROTFLMAO:

It is lots of fun destroying seats!!! Have fun! It is good therapy if you had a bad day too :whistle:.
