I was just looking through the manual for the MA online at britax's website and found this misprint.

Does anyone else have this in their manual??
Is britax aware of this?

I highlighted what I believe to be misprint in red , a child less then 1 yr of age and less then 20lbs SHOULD BE REARFACING

I found this info on page 7.

WARNING!
Do NOT use the child seat REAR FACING if any of the following apply:
the child is less than one year of age
• or
the child is less than 20 lbs. (9.1 kg.) in weight
• or
the child exceeds 65 lbs. (29.5 kg.) in weight
• or
the child exceeds 49” (124.5 cm.) in height
• or
the top of the ears are above the top of the child seat shell
• or
the harness straps are in slots below the child’s shoulders, parallel to
•
level ground (Fig. B)

That sounds like a mis-print...it should say Forward Facing.

Give Britax a call.

I checked my '06 and '07 CDN manuals and didn't see the misprint. I see where it is in the on-line US MA manual (http://www.britaxusa.com/uploads/docs/ubgxxrkxjp.pdf) but didn't notice it in the on-line CDN MA manual (http://www.britaxusa.com/support/documents/Marathon_CAN_P276200_R2.pdf).

Perhaps a call to Britax should be made.

I just spoke with britax and the rep said that they were aware of the misprint and were in the process of correcting the information on their website.

He said that that information likely wouldn't be in the manual attached to your seat.

I will have to check my manuals and see if they are correct. He said if they have the misprint to let them know.
