BabyTrend Flex-Lock Infant Carseat Installation

My husband and I installed our carseat using LATCH last week and followed step-by-step directions; however, we are still able to lift the rear of the seat (the part that fits in between the two front seats) off of the seat on which it is installed. Does this mean we did something incorrectly or is this how the infant carseats move with LATCH??

That is how infant seats move ;) As long as you have less than an inch of movement at the belt path you are fine.
