I am visiting my parents out of state and on a whim, decided to do an online Walmart search. Turned out their local WM had one, so I ran over to check it out. Ds fell in love and I was very impressed! I thought I'd hate the material, but it is fine and I can always switch it out once they make replaceable covers I suppose...

Anyway assembly was pretty easy and installation was a breeze. Rock solid latch install in my Odyssey (captain's chair). Ds is on the second to lowest harness slots (he's VERY tall in the torso, even though he's only 2.5 yrs. old and 31 lbs.).

So, so far I"m impressed!

OT: did you ever wonder what kind of sadistic engineers they hire to put all the pieces in the box just so...so that if you need to disassemble and return it, there is NO WAY to get it all in properly?!

I installed my GN Friday night in my 2000 Suburban. Install was a breeze on either outboard side in second row, but was a little dificult to get a tight fit in the center of the second row (I do have a rock solid fit now it just took a little work to get it). I do perfer the center for my son though because I do have 3 kids and need easy access to the thrid row for friends and my daughter needs to be on the outside because she needs the lap/shoulder belt for her booster (center seat position is lap belt only). We used it for the first time yesterday and my son loved it. He even fell asleep in it and had no issues with his head falling forward. So far so good.

When I returned ours, it took me 30 minutes to take it apart and put it back in the box properly...

Yeah, that sounds about right considering it took me less than 10 to put it together -- and 6 of those minutes was convincing ds to sit in it so I could find the right harness slots.

Did you even manage to get all the right cardboard pieces in the right places etc.? That's very nifty if you did! You are
