Our MA was delivered on the 22nd so I thought I'd share some pics. Yes, it's a Jonah, which means it's older. The DOM is Nov 06 and when it expires, my son will be 5 years and 4 months old. I know that kids older than that have still fit in an MA but my son is long and I'm pretty sure he will have outgrown it by height before then anyway. Also, it is very likely that I'll get tired of it and want something new before he even outgrows it, 'cause I'm like that! I paid $229 with no tax or shipping at bestbuybaby.com. I am majorly in love with the pattern, so with that and the amount of time I can still get out of it, it was worth it to me. I know people usually like to buy newer seats but I'm perfectly satisfied with it! I'm waiting for the sale to start to order a Granite MA that should have a newer DOM. We haven't installed this one yet, but when we do I'm sure I'll be coming around to make sure we did it right! The pics were taken in my living room, not in a vehicle. So without further ado, here is ds in his new Jonah MA! (He's 6.5 months old right now)
Thanks for looking!

that is a very cute cover; and cute baby, of course! The cover looks better in the pic than on the Britax website. Thanks for sharing. I think you got a great deal on the seat and hope your son can get plenty of use out of it. I hope a get a MA during the sale as well.

I asked this on our other post as well, but I'll ask again here, too...
First of all, he's adorable! I love that cover. Is it plush or is it like the typical couture covers?

I think I remember reading that it's the typical couture drapery type fabric. If I needed another MA, I'd absolutely buy an earlier DOM Jonah. LOVE that cover!!

Very cute baby and cover! What do you describe the feel of the cover to be like?

Okay, I'll do my best to describe the feel of the cover! I don't have experience with any of the other Coutures (they may be different from each other), but yes, this is similar to upholstery except softer. I said previously that it feels like a worn-in pair of jeans, and I think that's the best description so far! It's soft like flannel sheets, but not fuzzy. By no means is it stiff or scratchy (would Britax do that to us?!). I'm not sure what the tag says, but it feels like cotton to me. It's smoother than the plush covers and I think it'd be cooler to sit in in warmer temperatures. It feels comfy; we love it. Hope that helps some!
I LOVE that pattern and it looks like your DS loves it too! I wish Britax would make more cool covers like that one. I'd buy it too, even though it is older... given it looks so nice.

lol. My MIL said "You look like just a li'l guy in there!" He'll be 7 mos in a week. There's a 3-mo-old in a MA in the Installation section; he makes my DS look big in his!
ETA: I went back and looked at the thread and it says the 3-mo-old is 16 lbs and 26" - that's the exact measurements of my DS too! (Just went to the doc on Mon.) I guess it was all in my head!

He's adorable. I'm sure you already know, but just incase, you can take the HUGS off when RF. It looks like they might not interfere too much, but sometimes they make it hard to tighten it on the shorter torsoed little people. He's adorable though.

Thanks! I've been thinking about that and I'm gonna take them off before we install today.
