Any info on Recaro Alto??

I've *almost* finalized my decision for which high-back booster to buy my triplets (the Compass B510), but now I see that Recaro may be releasing a new booster: the Alto.

Any info on this seat yet? I am particularly interested in the outside width (I have to fit three across in a Ford Taurus). Also the MSRP.

How old are your triplets? how much do they weigh? what seats are they currently in & how do they fit in them?

The Compass B510 is a fairly wide booster, I am not sure you will be able to fit three across the back of a Taurus. It's also hard to buckle boosters when you have three seats across, there is little, if any room to reach the buckle with your hand.

I haven't heard anything new about the Alto.

We love our B510, but I agree with Gypsy, I think it'll be difficult, or impossible, to fit three-across in a sedan with the B510.

Knowing the ages, heights and weights of the triplets and the year of your Taurus and the current seats being used will help quite a bit. :)
