I am not getting a good install w/my radian. It will latch but stays to loose.I can use the car belts but it makes the buckle go into the shell of the carseat where the belt path is.We will have a kia sedona, currently installing in a pontiac aztek.

Try the tricks from this thread...http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=28939
The majority of them are for FFing use, but some may help.
The buckle is allowed to go into the belt path as long as it is fully in or fully out. :)

I have a 2001 Pontiac Aztek. What seating position are you installing in? Do you have LATCH? I can play around with mine and see if I can come up with any ideas. It is better to get a good install outboard than a poor install in the middle so if you have to move him to the outboard to use the LATCH, that might make it easier. I get a SOLID install using LATCH, but I haven't played around with it RF yet.
Question for you: Do you have it tethered? If so, where? I'm curious where I could tether it to RF.
