Boys Lands End Squall Parka Size L 6X/7 w/coordinating hat. My son's arms grew and now the sleeves are too short. It is in good used condition, no stains or rips that I can find. The top snap is missing 1/2 of it - you can see the tiny hole in the 2nd pic where it should be. We never used it anyway and I don't know what happened to it??? $25 shipped

I called Lands End to tell them about the missing snap on my son's coat. They offered to a replacement or refund or store credit, even though it had been worn for a full year already! I got a replacement coat in the next size up.

BTW, I didn't have the receipt, and I got the coat on clearance. It didn't matter.

Wow, thanks I'll give them a call. I don't have a receipt either - it was a gift.

What size shirts is your son wearing? I want something that is big enough for next winter as well and I'm wondering if I would need the bigger size up as well.

Lands End said they'll look into sending me a snap:rolleyes:
My son still fits in a Childrens' Place S 5-6 long sleeve shirt so I don't know if that helps at all. He is 7 but isn't real big. I can measure the length and sleeves and all for you if you would like.

Aw, that's too bad. I wonder if a different CSR would give you a different response. Now that I think about it, I may have e-mailed them (https://www.landsend.com/cgi-bin/email_opt.cgi?mode=GRAPHIC) about the issue, rather than calling. I didn't ask for the replacement, but they offered.

If your son is still wearing a 5-6 then I think I may need the larger size, especially for next winter.

Yeah, going by the stats in your sig, it seems they are close to the same size.
