I just bought the Primo Viaggio 2008 tri fix SIP and I have a question. I bought it in Germany (I live there). I assume it is pretty much the same as the American or Canadian version. My question is about the should cushion things (sorry I can't think of the right word). They have a string connecting them through the should strap slots. (think of those strings that hold together childrens gloves through their jackets).
It doesn't say anything about this in the manual. Do I cut the string off and adjust the cushions to where I think they should go? Or is it that way on purpose and they have to stay at that level.
Sorry, the only new car seat experience I have is with the radian and those should cushions I could take off if I wanted.
Another question, are these for safety or comfort? I assumed they were for comfort only.

I think the strings on the seats here are to make sure that the harness covers don't get too low and interfere with the chest clip, but you probably don't have a chest clip on your seat seeing as it's a EU seat I'm guessing?

What does your manual say about removing the harness pads? Since it's a EU seat, I wouldn't be comfortable commenting one way or the other.

You're right, no chest clip. The manual doesn't say anything about it. It is a very uninformative manual. There are pictures of the isofix installation and how to set the seat on it, but nothing about the seat itself. I thought the [peg perego] stroller instructions wre pretty lame, but I assumed it was bc it was a stroller. Now I realize, it must be a peg p thing. :)
Thanks
