Ok - so I'm in the process of buying a new radian however, I want to make sure that I get the newest best one out there.
I also need to buy it online - can anyone help I'm not sure of any Canadian places to buy a car seat
as well what's with what I read about a radian 80?
TIA

The Radian 80 is what the Radian Premier is called in the U.S. In Canada, both seats are only rated to 65lbs. The Premier comes with extra cushions and different cover choices.
I know babyproofingplus.com carries the Radian online, but there are other sources too. Others will know better than me!
Good luck!

DearBornBaby and tummiestotots also sell it. I believe they also have true free shipping (no oversize/overweight fees), but that info is from a few months ago so don't quote me on it. ;)

I don't think it will be changing for awhile since it just went up to 65lbs. I could be wrong but I don't think it will happen for while.

that sucks the weight limit won't be increased (although I know it just was i wish it would go higher and my luck it'll increase after I buy this one)
i have no place local to buy a radian (walmart is pretty much all we have) I'd have to drive an hour to get it and I don't want to do that..i'd rather order online and have it delivered.
is any place any different than the rest? one better than the other?

Tummies to Tots (http://www.tummiestotots.com/entries.aspx?sID=68554&catID=268&subcat=98) has free shipping on orders over $100.
Junior Baby charges $25 shipping for the Radian.

Yes, just wanted to echo what Jewels posted. We ordered a Radian Premier in SuperCool from TummiesToTots in October. The Supercool was on backorder. They shipped it as soon as they received in early November. They did not charge my credit card until it was shipped. The DOM was July2007. I don't think you'll receive a brand new Radian because they are shipped over from China. The Radian has an 8 year lifespan from the DOM.
There was no charge for the shipping, and the customer service was excellent. HTH!
BTW, as you may have figured out by now, the Radian 65 and 80 (regular and Premier in Canada) are pretty much the same seat in respect to the height of the harness slots. I think it would be pretty rare for a child to make it past 65lbs in a seat with 18" top harness slots. The fact that the Premier isn't rated to 80lbs in Canada isn't really a big deal. Most people buy the Premier or 80 due to the extra features and fabric choices. HTH!
