Safe and Sound, 1983

This is a Collier Keyworth Safe and Sound II, 1983. This is the same company that made the original Bobby Mac seats. Doesn't look very safe, does it?

the AU ones are Safe-n-sound by Britax but have model numbers after that.

This was my car seat as a toddler. I remember my legs sticking the plastic and sitting on the sheild waving to truckers in rush hour with my mom screaming at me to get back in my seat.

That was my seat, or a later version of it! :) (I was born in 1980). I also remember the joy of legs sticking to hot vinyl. LOL.

My mother used it for all of us kids right up on through my baby brother who wasn't born for another 7 1/2 years :eek:
