Do they ever have just weekend courses? I'd really like to become a tech, but there's no way I could find childcare during the week - especially for those long hours and so many days!
And is there a way to find out what cities they are held in general - they only show the current classes, but I want to know if there would ever be one closer to where I live.
thanks!

They're exceedingly rare, but occasionally do happen.

I've heard of some weekend classes but they seem pretty rare compared to weekday ones. Some weekday courses are split over a couple of weeks or more, which might make it easier for you to arrange child care. My course was four 8-hour days long, with two consecutive days per week over a two week period, followed by a Saturday seat check event. This schedule made it somewhat easier for my DH to arrange time off to stay home with our kids vs. taking off an entire week at a time. You could try contacting the certified instructors listed in your general area to see if any future courses are planned closer to you, and to express an interest in a weekend course to see if that's a possibility.

Thanks! That's a great idea! Since I'm not in a super rush, I'm ok waiting if I can find one that was close and had a more convenient class schedule.

You're welcome and hopefully a course comes along that will fit your schedule. :)
