Since doing 3 across seems to be a common question lately I thought I would start a thread about it.

Please post here if you have been able to successfully do 3 carseats across.

Let us know the vehicle make and year, how the carseats are installed (ie. seatbelt (and what kind) or LATCH), which way the seats are facing in the configuration (rf or ff), which seats you used and if you are not a tech if they have been checked.

If you have a picture that you would like to include that would be great, if not it's not a big deal

*Lets keep this an informative thread, if you have a question please start a new thread*

here's my info

3rd row of 03 honda ody seat belts
Britax Parkway, MA/FPSV, Graco Turbo. I was very surprised i fit the Pkwy beside the MA but the MA base is smaller than its HIPS as as i call them. I have to buckle the older kids in as its a tight fit but works! Usually its dds friends in that row in the boosters and they LOVE to play with one of my boys :p Dd thinks she is queen in 2nd row bucket with other brother!;)

Unfortunately I tried this with 2MAs and 1BV (DC replaced with BV by Britax) and I could not get a good fit. It must be due to them all having the LATCH bars. The DC doesn't have LATCH bars which is why I was able to get the 3 of them to fit nice and snug. I think the absence of the LATCH bars just gave a smidgen of extra room. Amazing how that one difference made such a HUGE difference.

I would monopolize the thread if I tried to list ALL the 3 acrosses I've done in the past 10 years, LOL.

So I'll just post what I've learned doing 3 across.

1. don't assume.

A big car seat may fit in a 3 across in a small car. Even in a space where a smaller seat did not fit.

A combination of seats that seems impossible may work if you change what goes where. Or what child uses which seat.

Driver and passenger outboard positions are not necessarily identical.

2. Don't be afraid to try something someone else found impossible.

3. Don't measure. The numbers NEVER add up to enough space, but that doesn't mean squat.

4. You may end up with a car seat brand you said you would never buy. (I may have to buy another d@mn Radian in the near future)

5. Don't attempt a 3 across when you are really hungry/tired/annoyed with the world. You'll end up throwing something expensive down on the driveway in disgust.

6. Do keep your sense of humor when the cop stops to ask you what you are doing in your bathrobe throwing stuff around in the driveway at 2 AM.

7.Remember that new seats are almost always cheaper than new cars. Practice saying this in the mirror before breaking the news to your SO.

8. Find a car seat buddy to play 3 across with. ( JULIE!!) Make sure to have lots of ice cream and root beer on-hand to see you through it.

My three across scenerios, obviously all with belts:

1997 Intrepid:
Every combination that I tried (I can't even remember them all), RFing or FFing, of Decathlon, FPSVD, Snugride, older Triumph, or Touriva. Locking clips (or the lock-offs) were required to keep my belts tight, even with the flip the latchplate trick, for all of the installs I tried. The Snugride is a little tricky to get into its base when installed passenger side next to a FFing Decathlon.

The Graco Nautilus, while it shockingly has a belt path that holds the belt at the correct angle so the locking mechanism actually works, will definitely NOT fit outboard next to a RFing Decathlon/FPSVD, that arrangement doesn't even come close to working.

1998 2 door Chevy Cavalier
I've never actually put 3 across in this car, but I was able to install a RFing Touriva passenger outboard with a FFing FPSVD center. There was room for another narrow seat like the Touriva or a narrow booster driver's side outboard.

It probably would work better in the manner you described. I actually just tried it out for fun sice I had purchased a Radian for our other car (incompatible, btw). I don't have my hands a RN at present to try it out. I think when the baby comes I might try a RN FF in the middle for my then 3 yr old, and a snugride outboard for the baby. I will miss my MA though, it's my fave seat ever.

I have not actually installed more than one car seat in there yet, but there are 3 seperate LATCH positions across the 18 mile wide back seat, and I know that you could fit whatever you wanted back there. If the Regent RF (which I KNOW it doesn't!!) you'd be able to fit it back there. If you KWIM!:p

This is done in a 1996 Ford Taurus station wagon.
All seats are installed Rear facing. There is two radians and a Graco snugride.
The blue radian is installed with a lap only belt. Female end twisted 2.5 times and the male end flipped to provide a secure lock.
The grey and black radian is installed with the lap shoulder belt. The vehicles locking retractor is used.
The graco snugride is installed with a lap/shoulder belt using a locking clip. The vehicle lock created too much of an angle for my liking!.
both radians are RFing tethered too.

Here are a few 3 acrosses I was able to achieve while playing around with seats.

These are in the 2nd row of our 2000 Dodge Durango.
All with seat belts (it doesn't have LATCH)
These were NOT checked by a tech, because I didn't actually intend to use any of these configurations.

Dodge Caravan - third row

1. Marathon (Passenger side), RF Scenera, Turbobooster highback (driver's side) - tight squeeze to blindly buckle and unbuckle the child, but it worked for our road trip. I didn't want to have to put my 5yr old in a booster when we'd recently put him back in the MA, so I gave it a shot and it worked. I did it in this order because the passenger and middle buckles are next to each other to avoid accidently unbuckling the scenera when doing up and undoing the booster.

2. Marathon, RF Scenera, Graco Cargo or Evenflo Chase harnessed or as booster - NO PIC

3. Marathon, Graco Cargo or Evenflo Chase in the middle, Turbobooster highback - NO PIC

4. Radian, Radian, Parkway or FPSVB or Backless Cosco Highrise/Auto booster - NO PIC

5. Parkway or FPSVB or backless Cosco Highrise/Auto Booster, Radian, another of the three boosters listed (a Turbo will fit, but is so hard to buckle that I prefer the boosters listed) - NO PIC - sorry... I did it ONCE when I needed to fit all 5 kids (my 3 and my niece and nephew) in my van... I put another Radian and a backless Cosco Prospect in the 2nd row that time

6. Nautilus, Radian, backless FPSVB or seatbelt kid

I just successfully installed 3 across in a 2001 Subaru Legacy.
1. Passenger side on LATCH Graco snugride RF
2. Middle on seatbelt- three belt stalk twists-Radian FF
3. Drivers side - Britax Marathon-on LATCH- FF
This was not checked by a tech, but all three are rock solid, and surprisingly very little sideways tilt on outboard seats.
My daughter 4 yo, 30 pounds is in the Radian, son 2 year old is in the Britax, and baby to be, sometime very soon, will be in the graco. I was surprised at how easy the install was, even being 9 months pregnant.
Thanks for all the information on this site. It definitely helped me to make the decision to buy the Radian and try the install, instead of buying a new car!

I installed two Parkways and one Regent in an '05 Camry today. It's my first three across.

The harness is high on my son because it's one of his sister's seats and I didn't want to change it out since I was only playing. His seat has it in the lower slot.

The Regent installed so nicely in the Camry. It was very easy using latch outboard for both lbp and sbp. With the shoulder/lap belt the lbp was simple but the sbp took some work. I tried to do the same three across in our '98 Corolla but it was a definite no go. There was hardly any leg room at all with the Regent in the Corolla.

This could become very addicting. :)

Wow! Wow! Wow! Great to know! I have two MAs installed in our 2007 Civic, one RFing and one FFing. I never thought you would be able to fit anything in between them. Good to know once both seats are FFing. We do have a Radian to squeeze in there. I am assuming that they all had to be installed with seatbelt, rather than the outboard MAs being installed with LATCH...

Here's my addition:

Make/Model/Year: 2002 Ford Focus Wagon
Install method: LATCH, seatbelt, LATCH, all tethered. You could also do seatbelt, LATCH, seatbelt or all seatbelt.
Configuration of seats: FF, RF, FF
Seats used: Cosco Regal Ride (Scenera/Touriva), Radian, Graco UltraCargo
Checked by a Tech: No

Rock solid installs, especially on the outboard seats with LATCH. The Radian had to go in the middle. I previously had the Radian RFing outboard and the Cargo in the middle, but the Regal Ride (RFing or FFing) wouldn't fit next to the Cargo. There are a few different combos that you could do, but the seats configure the best with the Radian in the middle. You could easily substitute a MA for the Cargo or Regal Ride as a PP has noted.

After looking at many of these pictures, it seems that it must be possible to fit 3 forward facing seats in my 2002 CRV, but I just don't understand HOW you're doing it... As I posted pictures in another thread, the seat belt buckles in the center of the back seat are VERY close together. The base will cover one of them for sure.

Are you guys scooching the seats in front of the seat belt buckles to fit the seat in?

Thanks much.

2002 Honda Odyssey (more):

This was checked by a CPST-I:

Radian 65 / Decathlon / Radian 65

The Radians required one twist of the buckle stalk, unbuckling to let it back in a few clicks of the switchable retractor and the seat to be reclined and then pushed up. If you are trying this, install the DC first in the center, then take it out without changing the lapbelt length. Install the Radians but don't push the seat up. Put the DC back in and then push the seat up. I don't suggest trying this alone. :)

Marathon/ Radian65 /Decathlon - this one we didn't quite get all the way in, but I think it would work. The seats can physically fit in the space, but getting the Radian tight in the center was the difficult part requiring lots of unbuckling to tighten the belt a little more and tigger-hopping while someone else hlods the buckle in alignment.

Yes, I put the seatbelt through the belt path, make the seatbelt VERY loose, move the carseat out of the way, buckle, push the carseat back into place, then put weight in the seat and tighten the seatbelt.

That TB is a PAIN to buckle. I think I might swap the two boosters because there seems to be more room on the driver's side. I would love to just make it two Parways, but with the absence of a girly cover for a Parkway in Canada, DSD would never go for it. And they're getting Monterey's in the summer anyways.

Not checked by tech. GN was rock-solid. TB's had to be pulled out to buckled, then pushed back in & were touching the door on both sides. What a circus getting everyone in! I was suprised at how good everything fit! I took my sister in law shopping the other day and this was our set up. :) I was curious how my SS1 would fit, so when we got home I installed it in place of her Eddie Bauer one. It was a tighter squeeze and I wouldn't want to have to deal with trying to get the carrier in and out everytime, but it still worked great. Side note, I was shocked to find that my 22 month old still fit in the SS1! Don't know why I was possessed to take him out of it.

Awesome thread!

Over the years I've had to do three across quite often. I'm trying to think of all the different cars we've had, and all the different seats. I'm coming up blank at the moment, except for a recent one of a Recaro Start, FF Radian (SB, no tether available), and Olli Clek (although the armrest to the Olli hit the side of the Radian and mashed the armrest in a bit). Plugging the Clek into the LATCH I end up losing a good inch, almost two, of space on the side of the seat, and it mashes the armrest into the Radian, bending the armrest inward a bit. It's also a PITA to buckle up.

One car I had (I think that was when we had the Buick, aka The Whale), I had a Futura in the middle and two Britax Laptops on outboard. Ummm. '95 Mercury Villager, Graco TB (high back), MA, and Graco TB (low back - for which I regret not using the back. We were in a collision and dd hit her head on the window).

Right now I have two Safeguards side by side in the back row (both SB, and one TT).

I was a tech for all of the above mentioned installs.

I just wanted to post this information so it was out there. I know some other threads speculate that it might be possible to fit three car seats across the back of a 2006 Scion xB. It is indeed possible. We have done it, using 2 Sunshine Kids Radian 65s (outboard LATCH), and one Fisher-Price Safe Voyage Booster (middle shoulder belt). When one Radian is rear-facing, it pushes the front passenger seat up quite snuggly, because it is such a tall seat. But it is possible.

Don't have to upgrade to some bigger car just yet.

Snugride without base | FF Safety First Uptown | FF Cosco seat to 40lbs (My friend didn't know the name of it). All with seatbelt installs. Not checked by a tech, but I checked all seats independently. The snugride base fits, but you can't snap the infant seat in, maybe a narrower infant seat would work.

I can get FF Safety First Uptown center | FF Como driver outboard. The snugride base can fit in the passenger outboard but you can't snap the infant seat in it. I would try a narrower infant seat and this might work.

I'm going to test a Radian center one of these days at the Right Start. If it works with seatbelt in center position, I think many other seats could fit either side.

Graco Nautilus (passenger side seatbelt)
Fisher Price Safe Voyage booster, about an inch wider than the narrowest setting (center seatbelt)
Rear-facing Cosco Scenera (driver's side LATCH)

The shell/lip of the Scenera puzzles on top of the FPSV booster's armrest, but it isn't a tight fit, and it isn't hurting the install. I've had it looked at by more than one long-time, trusted tech, and all gave it the thumbs-up. :)

A booster in the center of the Focus will cover the driver's side female buckle stalk, making it difficult/possibly unsafe to use anything but LATCH in that spot when there is a booster in the middle. Even when the FPSV booster is on the narrowest setting, it still touches that driver's side outboard buckle.

I also easily fit a Graco TurboBooster outboard passenger side in place of the Nautilus, with plenty of room to buckle both the Turbo and the FPSV booster in the middle (not moved from the location it was sitting with the Scenera in place, so I know the Turbo/FPSV booster/RF Scenera combination would work, too).

Even though, looking from the front view, it appears that the FPSV booster is too wide, and is covering the outboard female buckle stalks, the design of that booster makes it all work. The way the seat is shaped, curving forward by the buckle stalks, near the back, with armrests set slightly forward, makes accessing the buckles do-able, and eliminates my worry of the booster accidentally releasing the driver side outboard and center buckle. We tried several other boosters in this spot (Evenflo Big Kid, Combi Kobuk, Graco TurboBooster), and none worked; they all pressed on the seatbelt buckles for the driver side outboard spot, and the center buckle.

It would probably work easiest to put a harnessed seat in the center, but I'm trying to keep my boostered child in the center if at all possible.

The RF Scenera could also be installed with LATCH, which I would actually be more comfy with, just so I wouldn't have to worry about accidentally unbuckling it when messing with the booster in the middle.

The FF Radian could technically be installed using LATCH, as well, and I'd be more comfy with that for the reason stated above, but in my vehicle, the child who would be using this seat is over the LATCH weight limit, so it has to be installed with the seatbelt. Still, because of how the booster is curved, I'm not concerned it will accidentally release the outboard buckle.

Surprisingly, the RF Radian worked just fine in my Focus. Maybe not for the tallest of folks, but for me, it was just fine sitting in front of it. Also surprisingly, using the Radian RF outboard passenger side instead of the RF Scenera from the previous post gave me less room to buckle the center booster. Totally not what I expected.

Thread the seatbelts before you settle the seats all the way back; there's not enough room to do so after they're wedged firmly together. My two oldest were in the outboard positions (one in a Parkway, the other in the Olli) and they could buckle themselves, but my 5 year old couldn't buckle herself in the middle Parkway, and my 8 year old, who was sitting on the same side as the middle buckle couldn't get it for her, either; an adult had to help them.

The FPSVb will require adult help to buckle, but it will only be used very occasionally for a friend. Also, it would have fit MUCH nicer as Nauti/FPSVb/RF Scenera, but with the 05, the only TT in the 3rd row is in the middle. So, if you have a different year, this would be easier. :)

I have a Jeep Compass which has identical seating to the Patriot. I use a Regent and Evenflow Titan right now. #3 is coming next year and I plan to buy two Radians. OEM measurements list more space than 3rd row of minivans than so many people have done. We've got the 51" required for 4 Radians which are 17" @ top and only 14" base. If one is rear facing, even better for installing.

This is not a successful install. The seat needs to move less than 1" at the belt path BEFORE you tighten the tether.

In booster mode, the Frontier is installed using latch and tether, but the Latch strap has about an inch of slack allowing plenty of room to buckle. Rock solid installation puts it too close to the Regent.

The frontier can be installed in harness mode in this position lbp.

Both the Regent and the Husky are using the recline bar. Both can be installed using alternate belt paths.

FF RN, RF RN, Parkway (put the PW on the passenger side)

Install the RF RN first in the center - easiest way is to install with latch first, then with seatbelt and unhook the LATCH (DO NOT USE LATCH IN CENTER, JUST USE IT TO GET IT TIGHT) - two full twist of the seatbelt stalk.

Ouboard RN requires much cursing and knuckle scraping. Two twists of the belt stalk, pull from the inside of the seat (unvelcro the cover) while wiggling the latchplate to guide it around the bumps on the edge of the seat. Don't forget to leave your tether accessible.

PW is easy peasy. If I was a thinking person, I would have put the PW on the passenger side so that the buckle was not next to the RF RN buckle... not going back out there to fix that, so child in PW is under strict orders to not do any buckling or unbuckling on his own after unbuckling the RF RN once already.

All installed with seatbelts! Checked by technician.

Both girls are on the verge of falling asleep! All seats are very tight and its easiest to leave the peg perego in the car rather than taking it in and out each time. Plus Bella is about 20 lbs, so its getting heavy.

1990 Surburban.

*copied and pasted from email I sent to someone needing help*
The Regent went in rock solid in the center with the recline bar about 1.5 to 2 inches above the bight. The corner of the buckle ended up just a teeny bit in the belt path with one full twist. Not enough to actually poke up into the seating area, just enough to be aesthetically annoying. Another twist would take care of it, but is not needed for safety reasons. You have to finangle the female end of the buckle a little bit to get it positioned just right under the recline bar, but it does work. Something I had forgotten about doing to the Burban is that I cut the hard plastic casing off the buckle stalks when I first got it. You'll be able to see in the pictures what I mean. As long as you are careful not to cut the webbing, doing so is considered acceptable practice.
There was PLENTY of room to put the Frontier driver's side outboard and other Regent passenger side outboard. You'll see this in the pictures too. No need to uninstall the center Regent to verify independent installs. If you want another Regent driver's side outboard, you'll need to install the outboard one first to verify an independent install for that one.
I only tried the Frontier driver's side outboard. The belt is *just* long enough for LBP. I had to kneel in it to get it to buckle. Another set of hands to hold the
seat belt fully retracted is very useful for both outboard seats. Be prepared to bounce vigorously.
When you tether the seats, don't try to make the tethers super duper tight. As you've already found out, the seat backs just aren't strong enough or high enough to make that work. Tighten enough to remove the slack, but not enough to cause traction on the seat.

To tether in this vehicle you have to tether to the third row seat belts, or have heavy duty tether anchors (HDTA) installed. There are suitable locations for HDTAs in all six rear seating positions.

The outboard l/s belts are long enough for LBP, but the center lap-only belt is not.

Pictures are in the album under my profile.

Center (LATCH): RF Scenera
Passenger's side: Recaro Vivo

The Vivo looks like it might be difficult for a child to buckle, depending on their ability. But...I could buckle it, so I'm figuring my 8 year old can.

It would have fit better with 2 Parkways instead of a Vivo, but I don't have access to the 2nd PW right now.

Not yet checked by a tech. But I can have it done Saturday :)

EDIT:
My 8 year old couldn't buckle the Vivo. I tried a HB Turbo Booster, and it fit as well, but she still couldn't buckle it. I had to buckle for her.

I rearranged seats tonight this is what I have now:

Passenger's side- Graco Nautilus- This has to be as close to the door as possible, but it's not touching the door when closed
Center- Britax Parkway
Driver's side- RF Cosco Scenera

All installed with seat belt. Not checked by tech, but all are independently tight. Have to install the Nautilus first, as far over as you can get with the funky contours, then the Scenera and then the Uptown. The vehicle seats are squishy, so the Uptown fits a little under the side of the Scenera. However this doesn't affect the install, as it is not braced.

3rd row

3 britax marathons. It would not have worked if I had to have them all forward facing, they wouldn't have puzzled well together. I had to use the seat belt instead of the latch on the middle marathon, the latch moved it over too far to the side.

It was A LOT of work! I basically had to recline the seats of the van, buckle them in but not tighten them and then buckle each of them a little bit at a time and then go to the next seat. Getting one in and then trying to get the others in did not work.

2008 Honda Fit

Driver's side: BabyTrend FlexLoc, LATCH
Center: FFing Radian (seatbelt, there is no LATCH in this position) with top tether
Passenger's: BabyTrend FlexLoc, works with either LATCH or seatbelt.

Not tech-checked, this was just me playing in the parking lot.

I had to use just about every trick there is in order to get the Radian in there correctly. Recline the vehicle seats. Remove the headrests from the center and driver's positions and store securely. Twist the female buckle stalk twice, and the little clippy thing (the one that you clip the seatbelt into when it comes down from the ceiling) once. It is easier to twist the stalks if you lift the seat bottom about half way up, this lets the belt twist below the level of the seat cushions. Take the little clippy thing and the driver's side female buckle out of their elastic holders. Put the RN in recline mode. Loosely connect the top tether. Buckle and tighten, keeping the seat as centered on the vehicle seat as possible (not centered in the seatbelt). It will still be too loose, now you have to let it slide a bit toward the driver's side to get an acceptable install. Once it moves less than one inch at the belt path, push it as far towards the passenger's side as you can (it won't go far, but you need those millimeters). Install the FlexLoc bases. Move the vehicle seat backs back into upright position, then take the slack out of the Radian's top tether.

The Radian and driver's side seats touch/press slightly on each other but they are independently tight. There is about an inch of room between the FlexLoc seat and the door. There is tons of room on the passenger's side. The seats do not touch each other, and the FlexLoc also does not touch the door. The driver's side FlexLoc seat is a bit tougher than normal to get clicked into the base because it is pressing a bit on the Radian. I used two hands (one at the top of the seat and one at the foot) and pressed down while listening for the clicks to tell me it was in.

All in the third row, all seat belts (middle is lap with locking latchplate, outboard are l/s):

All FFing, BLVD, RNXT, BLVD. Had to do drivers side BLVD first, then RN, then for the 3rd BLVD I had to buckle it before sliding the seat into position in order to reach the buckle, then tighten. The Radian needs tricks, but I'll post that in the radian install thread.
http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/ee21/zeotwoski/3across.jpg

The same seats, same ordered worked RFing as well, but the last BLVD was *extremely* difficult to use the lock off, but possible. Install the same order as FFing and again, buckle before positioning the last BLVD.

It was not possible to do any combination of RF and FF together with those seats.

Second set up, still 3rd row seat belts:
(starting from passenger outboard) snugride, FFing RN XT, FFing BLVD
http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/ee21/zeotwoski/3across2.jpg

install BLVD, then Radian, then SR. The SR base was really wedged in there and I couldn't tell if it was actually installed tight or not until I removed the Radian (and it was). It was wedged tightly but did not bend the plastic out of shape.

I have a couple of different situations to put here for those who may be looking.

First, 2003 Dodge Caravan:
Evenflo Titan (ff), seatbelt, no tether available. (I can also put either my Evenflo Big Kid Booster OR my Graco Turbo Booster here but it is difficult to buckle)
Graco SS1, seatbelt
Graco CarGo, seatbelt, no tether available.

Second, 1998 Subaru Impreza:
Graco TurboBooster
Evenflo Titan (rf) OR Graco SS1
Graco CarGo, seatbelt, no tether available

I love how narrow the CarGo is plus it has super high harness slots. That is the ONLY seat my dd fits in other than the hwh seats at 41 inches.

Not technically 3 across, since it was two seats and a mom, but posting it anyway.

2004 VW Touareg *really firm seats, kinda hard to get enough weight*

MOM/Peg Perego Primo Viaggo (rfing w/seat belt)/MA (ffing w/seat belt)

MA had to be pretty close to the door. LATCH install put it too close to the infant seat.

Did not work with MA on passenger side, only on driver side. Something low profile enough to get below the infant seat handle would have worked.

Sorry, no pics. This was a check and client did not want me to take any.

Seat belt install on the bucket both times, seatbelt for the RF titan.

Boosters were nearly impossible to buckle, needed both adults wedging in there and swearing to get them buckled.
I woudl not recommend the first scenario except in an emergency.

I wish I lived in America - there are just no big cars in the UK!

And just as I have been doing so much research into this I thought I would share my 2 cents :)

We have 3 kids under 3 yrs, plus a dog
=> 3x three FULL size (Brittax Evolva 1-2-3's) child seats in a row
=> Space for our buggy and our dog...
=>Also we wanted something that drives most like a car and didn’t completely look like a minibus :)

So after taking our 3 seats to every car dealership in London - the ONLY cars that fit were ones with 3x individual back seats:

 No SUVs fit - just too narrow
 No sedans/estates fit (not even Mondeo or A4 estate), and very few 4x4s fit - even if the car was wide enough, the middle child seat covered the seatbelt buckles and so wouldn’t sit right
 Most 7 seaters went out the window, as the rear seats were useless! a) you have to sacrifice the boot - when do we not take a buggy?; and b) having a ZERO rear crush zone – those passengers were killed in crash tests!

Thus it has come down to:

:thumbsup:Honda FR-V (sorry the Fiat Multipla is just to wierd looking)
http://www.honda.co.uk/cars/fr-v/
Pros – 6x seats (3x isofix) and a boot! Nice drive, feels like a car
Cons – Expensive for what it is, as Honda don’t make many, so charge the earth for the ones they do :(

:thumbsup:Land Rover Discovery 3 –
http://www.landrover.co.uk/gb/en/vehicles/discovery-3/overview.htm
Pros – 7x seats but the boot is big enough to have 1 rear seat up and still fit the buggy - and it has 4x4 build safety
Cons – It’s a 4x4, so running costs are higher, and you’re really just in a cooler looking bus

:thumbsup:Nissan Pathfinder –
http://www.nissan.co.uk/#vehicles/4x4/pathfinder
Pros/Cons – as the Discovery above

:thumbsup:MultiMac – 3 to 4 seat child seat system
http://www.multimac.co.uk
Pros – fits most vehicles and the cheapest option, as you don’t have to trade your car in.
Cons – Need to find someone who has one to see what its like – and it’s not a car

Lastly I found a useful tool to use as a rough car guide
http://www.britax.co.uk/car-seats/fit-finder/

Hope that helps!
