Good source for safety stats?

Does anyone know of a reliable source to get statistics about carseat and auto safety? I know there are always stats flying around about x% of seats are installed wrong, and x% of crashes are frontal, but I'm working on a presentation and I'd like to be able to cite some reliable sources. I've tried looking around the NHTSA site but I'm having trouble finding general statistics.

Check your state's CPS website. For Virginia you would check www.safetyseatva.org and then click resources.
