Apex 65 available at Walmart

I was at Walmart tonight and I went down their car seat isle and they had 2 Apex 65's in boxes on the bottom shelf but there was no display model out yet. They are priced at 169.97 so $10 less then Sears and TRU :thumbsup: My hope is now that Walmart has the Apex and are getting the Nautilus that people start keeping their kids in harnesses seats longer.

They also had Scenera's with a dark blue cover in the plastic bags instead of the boxes.

The biggest thing about the Apex is that it needs firm vehicle headrest support for its own headrest to be raised. And even at highest extended headrest support, the top harness slots are reportedly about 17.5"-18". I think that is still lower than the Nautilus (I think)

I was also at Wal-Mart tonight. The car seat aisle looked like it was in the middle of a makeover: almost empty shelves, some old stock, new stock partially in, no prices. The new Scenera with its cover/carry bag was there and some new safety first stroller patterns.

I was also at walmart tonight and they're redoing the carseat aisle at ours too. The apex is available now there too, they must have about 6 or 8 of them in stock. They've also got a ton of the new scenera's in bags, and then the usual AO and had at least 10 of the evenflo chase/vision combination seats. (Don't remember which one it was now. :o)

They must be preparing for the new seats... triumph advance and the nautilus. I'm tempted to get a job there just to get 10% off. LOL.
