Longer crotch strap for Apex

Well, call Dorel two days ago and guess what when we got home this evening: a package delivered by UPS from Dorel.

After removing the seat from our ody and find out that they have send the exact same crotch strap along with the harness but NOT THE LONGER ONE I requested!:mad:

Can someone confirm the longer crotch strap is available to the Canadian market or just the US?

I have to give credit to Dorel because I was totally shocked how fast their service was but unfortunately its the wrong one or the exact same one I've got.

Anyone who received a longer strap can you measure the length so I can compare if the current one I've got is the proper one?

Hmmm, I have no clue. Have you tried doing a search on length of longer crotch strap in the main forum? You could always post and ask someone to measure.

I don't know off the top of my head of any other regular posters in Canada who have the Apex and might have the longer crotch strap to compare. I would figure Dorel would know if they couldn't send out a longer strap - the # you called for service would've been a CDN specific number and they don't have access to US info when they enter your seat info into the system... (at least based on what I was told when I talked with them during the 3in1 adjuster strap recall thing.)
