It has the Wicket cover, has had the adjuster replaced per the recall, and is in impecible shape. DD is getting tired of it and I'd rather get rid of it when there's at least 2 years left, instead of with less than a year.

I just want you to know that your 6 year old is almost 3 inches shorter than my 5 year old! Oh to have a shorty!

Joni, if she doesn't take it I want it. Would a Regent cover fit it?

Yes it would, and I wouldn't have to deal with shipping.

And he would still fit in my dd's marathon by almost an inch! I knew I should've got him a ma when he outgrew the comfort sport at 3!

I PM'ed you. You will have him harnessed to at least 8. H has about 1/5 inches left in that seat and has a perfectly good Parkway sitting in her closet, just waiting. Her legs are so long that her feet actually touch the floor of the car when she's in the seat. She is not a car seat friendly kid.

In case anything falls through, I'd like to sign up for the waiting list. I'm looking for two.

A neighbor said she'd sell me her 2003 one for $75. What do you think? Is there any way I can check the manuf. date if it isn't on the bottom?

Thanks,
Maeve

I've heard to figure a price by taking the original price ($260 for a new Regent), dividing by life span (6 yrs) and then multiplying that by how many years left it has (2003 model has one year left)

so 260/6=$43.33*1=$43.33

I would price exactly as Anna described, then go up or down for condition (like new cover could go for a bit more, a very used looking cover maybe less)

So I'm not too far off. Shipping is an issue though. Shipping could be equal to the seat in some cases. I think I have a plan though, I just need a big box!

Yep, shipping is a... well, it will get ya ;) I bought a Triumph at KMart last year for $24 and sent it to a friend, and the shipping was twice the purchase price!

Thanks for the input! A 2003 Husky should have a tether, right?

Yes. It should have a tether.

I have a line of people who want this seat:). I had no idea it would be so popular. Maybe I should have just bucked up and did Ebay. It'd be at $200 by now;). Just kidding, too.
