I have a used seat I'd like to sell, but I don't have the box. I know Mailboxes, Etc. and similar stores will package items for shipping, but I've heard they charge outrageously to do so. Those who have shipped seats (or other larger items) before, how do you do so without spending a fortune?

Could you go to a baby store or a place that sells carseats and see if they have any boxes lying around

Which seat is it?

I may have a box for ya

I could flatten it and ship it to you.

ETA: You could also put a wanted listing on Craigslist for a carseat box. I had my boxes for sale on Craigslist and sold them quickly.

You may be able to get a box the right size at your local Kmart/ Target type stores. They get lots of boxes of stuff every day.

I know where I live you can buy boxes at hardware stores, or even at the uhaul rental places, they cost anywhere up to about 5 bucks depending on size.

I've heard that using UHaul and moving van places is the cheapest way to go, to purchase a box.
