top slots on Britax and radian

what are the measurments for them? I think I know the radian is 18" but what is the britax? I my just trying to decide on seats for my kids (yes, still LOL)

If I remember right it's 17" for a marthon and 19" for radian (sk allows 1" over the top slot)

They both actually measure 17 inches without kids in them, from the base of the bum area pushing the padding down to the top of the top slots, but because of the way the padding is or the way the Radian is more upright, it tends to fit kids 6-12 months longer than the Marathon. (and you are allowed to use the Radian above the top slots, which 'effectively' makes the top harness height 18 inches...most of us aren't really comfortable going over the top slots with our own kids, if we have other options, however).

My oldest outgrew her Marathon a few months ago and has over an inch left in her Radian (or not quite half an inch if you aren't comfortable with shoulders over the slots, which I am).
