I'm going to assume you're in Canada (like me) since you refer to the Premier (in the U.S. it's called the 80.)
Only differences (that I'm aware of) between them are different covers and more padding on the Premier (including the removable infant inserts.) Same weight limit (65lbs in Canada) and slot heights.
HTH!
ETA: We have a Premier. It was an insurance replacement for a Marathon, otherwise I wouldn't have spent the extra money. We got the Super Cool fabric, and I wouldn't do that again - I find it snags and pulls. However, the infant body pillow can be used as a toddler head pillow, and that has proven to be nice. Of course, if you have a girl, the princess cover would be a big draw ;)

I've had both and I currently have 4 SuperCool's. I love the fabric... it hasn't really snagged on us. Maybe a little fray here or there, but no real snags. IMHO, it's much better than the other fabrics because it does not get near as hot in the summer. My kids were sweating in the Granite fabric of the 65 and didn't appreciate that too much.

I was wondering the same thing when I went to purchase our radian. We went to TJ's kids. They have the princess design too. We chose the 65 cause A)it was cheaper and B) if I decided I needed the body pillow or the head pillow I could buy the after market one they provide. It is the same thing as the premier but just sold seperately. I would go for the 65 personally. Cheaper and they both harness the same if you are in Canada. I got the Costal blue. You can see it in my siggy. I am VERY impressed with the seat. After the first initial problems installing which was human error on my part. LOL.

intresting...I can see how the fabric could snag. If my dd convinces me to get the princess on then that woun't matter for her LOL
I see that your in Alberta, me too.... where did you get your seats from?

I actually ordered them online from SafetySuperStore... although, there are other places that sell them that have free shipping now... DearBornBaby and TummiesToTots come to mind.
I'm just outside of Calgary and no one was carrying the Premier in the SuperCool at the time... they all had the Manhatten which is a super hot velour fabric... nice and cushy but mega warm in the summer. ;)

The body pillow turns into the toddler head pillow. My 5.5 year old is a car sleeper and we do long drives a lot... he still uses that pillow.
If you do a lot of travelling or you have a car sleeper, then I would recommend the Premier because of the nicer fabric and slightly cushier feel. It also comes with a shoulder strap so if you do air travel that could come in handy as well.
If the above criteria do not fit your lifestyle, then you would honestly probably be fine with the Radian 65. We had the Granite to begin with and my younger son never complained... probably because he didn't know any different. It was my older one that complained the seat was always hot... it totally depends on the child.

see I would recommend the 65 and then get the pillows when and if you need them. But it is up to you. Jenn is the tech too.

That's a good idea but for the most part the Radians (65lbs) are $229 and the Premier's are $259 so how much are these pillows? I thought they were something like $20+shipping and tax  If that is the case then I would get the Premier because of the extra padding and the pillow if the price would end up being pretty close in the long run. Either way, both are good seats and will do the same thing safety wise.

ah see that may be where it is different..........cause I can get mine at a store locally and the pillow is $25 at our local store where I got the Radian from so you may be right. so really it is up to the op....... I opted for the 65 myself. But Cooper also doesn't need the pillow. But he is RFing and who knows I may end up buying one

Yeah, we don't have any of the comfy soft available for sale at retailers in the city that I've found. (There's one store I haven't checked mind you.) The stores I've looked at only have the other SK insert - comfy cozy I think it's called or what is it now? Can't recall the name off the top of my head...
Anyways, if you want the pillows, you're best off getting a premier unless you're getting a really good deal on the regular radian. I ordered the comfy soft from a seller on ebay and paid about $27 for it after shipping and conversion. I also only paid $160 for my seat though. If it'd come down to the full price for the 65 or getting the premier, I'd have gotten the premier.
Where abouts in AB are you? I know there's a boutique in Red Deer that carries the Radian, and there are stores in both Edmonton and Calgary that carry them. I know of 2 in Edmonton. :)

The Radian Premier also comes with one carrying strap, which may be useful if you ever plan to travel with the seat. The strap retails for about $10.
The toddler pillow is quite nice. We have it installed for our tiny 18month old and he fits in the seat very nicely. As PPs have mentioned, we ordered our Premier from Tummies To Tots with free shipping. They were out of SuperCool at the time, but sent the seat out as soon as they received them. Tough decision;)

I just wanted to add, in regards to the supercool fabric, I have seen snagging on it. It's probably more of a problem when the toddler pillow is being used as the body support of an infant, because the harness straps have the velcro pieces on them that can catch on the insert when the straps are put over the side.
The fabric itself is very nice though and perhaps with an older child it wouldn't be as prone to snagging?
I definitely do prefer the covers on the premier seats over the regular seats. They just feel nicer.
