... a friend of mine offered to let us take it on our vacation. b/c the girls have out grown the tandem stroller we got them last spring for vacation. on another board a lot of people keep telling me that the stroller won't work well at Disney at all b/c of the front wheel that doesn't swivel... I really really really don't want to spend the $$ on another stroller and dh kinda told me i'm dead if i do! LOL

Does anyone see if it will work or not...
Thanks!!!

I was watching John & Kate + 8 last night...and they used the rental strollers at Disney. They were RAVING about how easy they were to push---with either the big girls(2 6 yr olds) or 2 of the babies(who are 3). They said they wanted to buy them.

So instead of buying---why not rent once you are there?

we are going to disney for 4 days and one night (special party) so just for the 4 days to rent a double stroller it would be $72.00 see the issue there! LOL It's crazy! I wasn't looking to buy a stroller i was going to borrow the one above from our friends but wasn't sure if it'd be a good choice or not for the parks, if it won't work at all then i need to look into what i might get to use we have this one http://eddiebauer.djgusa.com/product/detail.asp?ID=2665
but the girls are just to big for it now... it worked great last year when they were 2 and 4 but abby has grown 2-3 inches in legs and is to long to sit comfy, Allie is getting to heavey as well. i think the limit pre seat is 30# so they have both long since out gorwn that and it doesn't push so well with that kinda weight in it anymore...

Do you have a single stroller? You could take a single stroller that you already have, then buy a cheaper umbrella stroller for when they both need to ride.

I don't see what's all that great about the Disney rental strollers. I mean, a younger baby just wouldn't work because it doesn't recline, and *I* don't think they are all that easy to push. Maybe Kate is used to a stroller for 6? LOL. I've taken a single jogger without a swivel wheel and it's not really that bad if you are used to it already. It does help part the croud to get through...they think you're going to run them over!

Oops! I fixed the link in the first post... i was on both boards and once... see what happends when you have to many boxes open! LOL

Anyways, no we don't really have a single stroller any more, see i left it out in the rain over the summer, and the padded all molded so bad i couldn't fix it, so i trashed, we hardly EVER used the dumb thing, i carried allie in a sling/Mie Tia for her first 2 years of her life! So we never needed one, unless it was a major trip w/ LOTS of walking then we used the one above but when we took a small weekend trip up to Chicago last summer it was so hard with the weight of the girls that i was on longer working... I hate to shell out any $$ for a stroller since we use one so rarely... i mean by next year i'm sure when we go to FL abby will be past the need for a stroller. But when i asked about the stroller on the Disney boards i was told not to take this jogger b/c of the front having to be lifted with the girls in it... i didn't think it would matter to much, but i'm not sure as it's a borrowed stroller we havn't used...
