Just came back from visiting an old high school friend in Florida and her Wz cover is totally falling off her seat. The fabric is all stretched out and the elastic is shot. She's a single mom, working hard to stay afloat after her rich ex left her and DD high and dry, so I thought I would help her out, but I can't spend $75 on one. Anyone retiring a WZ and want to sell the cover for a reasonable ammount?

My wizard cover is shot also. Sucks you can't buy a replacement cover through Britax anymore. I looked on ebay yesterday and they only had custom ones.

It does suck doesn't it! I have pondered the idea of trying a BV cover...I know I know bad thought huh :) Even if a little modifcation is needed on the head pad it would be better than a knock off non Britax cover IMO Maybe we should all send Britax a letter/petition for either an approved cover replacement :D

What is the midnight one like? Blue, black? I was hoping not to pay more then about $35 since the seats are discontinued, but we'll see. Thanks for reminding me about it!

Unfortunately since covers are no longer available and seats have lots of life left I think supply and demand is going to mean prices will be higher :(
Have you tried calling Britax? Maybe pleading your case w/ them? Pointing out they are forcing parents to buy aftermarket covers by not providing parts ( customer support) to the product w/ a 6 yr life span and clearly their covers will not survive 6 yrs. I use my WZ as a spare and have 2 covers, one is not in great condition, the casing for the elastic is shot and needs some TLC.
Heck maybe we all need to contact them so they are aware of just how many people need covers?

Add me to the list. I've had my WZ for 3 years and the elastic is gone. Other than that the cover looks great. I complained over a year ago to Britax, but maybe I need to call again!

The elastic is very, very easy to fix. I've revived my Foofy and Freedom covers w/ new Elastic, and it was easy peasy.

It's navy & black...the navy is actually a blue & black nylon weave, and the sides are black velour-y material.
Yeah, I definitely can't let it go that cheap...it's basically brand new, and my seat still has at least 3 years left in it. I'd rather keep it just in case even though my denim cover is doing peachy keen right now.

Shucks...somehow I thought there would be a lot of Wizards retiring these days so maybe there would be a market for the covers, but since everyone's elastic is dying apparently there is a big need for covers. I will call Britax and see if they are willing to do anything. The seat was also locked in the recline mode and wouldn't stay upright but somehow I got it to stay with an extra hard push. If it slips out again it may be a case for a new seat but I doubt that they will do that. Hmmmm maybe a new Parkway, considering she is 5. Thanks ladies.

I have a Wizard cover that I no longer need...its the denim one but I had put iron on flower patches on it for my dd. The elastic is fine but the cover itself is starting to fade where the legs rub and also on the headwings. If this is ok with her she can have it for $35. Just let me know! I dont have a good pic of it but if you look at the pic I attached you can see part of it in the back seat. Oh...and sorry if the pic is huge :-)

Thanks, I just sent her the pic and asked if she is interested. I'll let you know as soon as I hear back. Sorry it took so long, I haven't checked this board in awhile.
