I have a 2006 P&T that I bought used. It never came with a manual so I have a few questions.
When I fold it doesn't seem to have a latch to keep it closed, am I missing something?
What is the max weight of the bassinet? Is there a way to strap baby in while in the bassinet? I still will have to try my SS 1 in the bassinet as mentioned in another post. Its just been to cold out to play around with these things!
TIA,
Danielle

you can get the manual online at phil and ted's website.

The bassinet is the main seat, so I'm guessing the weight limit would be the same as the main seat. My 28lb rode in there with zero issues.
There isn't really a way to strap baby in while in the bassinet... we never worried too much about this as I was always right there to keep an eye on baby.
There is no latch per se to keep it closed. The strap that you use to put around your wrist (it's attached to the handle bar) can be looped through the front wheel when the stroller is folded and then snaps back onto the strap to keep it closed.
Just realized I gave you instructions for the E3V2... the new E3 Sport may be different. :o

Pre 2007 models don't have a latch - it was something they added this year to the sport models. The main seat (I assume that's what you mean by bassinet) can take a child up to 55 lbs. The doubles kit takes up to 33 lbs. The only other thing I can think of by bassinet is if you got a cocoon to go in the stroller

The doubles kit will actually go up to 45lbs WHEN it's installed on the front in infant/toddler mode.
The 33lbs limit is for when it is in the jump seat position in toddler/toddler mode. :)
