I have the part number for a 95 honda civic 82410-SE3-C01 is there any place online that sells it? The dealer that is close to me says there is no such part? and once installed can it be removed and put in another location in the same car.
I only need 1 in the center now but when we get a higher weight seat it may not fit in the middle so I would like to move it outboard passenger side could this be done or once the part is in its in can not be removed?

That's the part number referenced in the LATCH manual. It also says that it's called anchor plate and mounting hardware in the Honda manual. I don't know of any place that sells it online (although there's probably somewhere that does). I would try a different dealer or maybe even an independent shop that specializes in Hondas.

I believe you can move it. They use the same part for all Honda's in all positions that can have a tether anchor added.

The Honda dealer might be able to look it up under "Plate Assembly" in their computer, although it's kind of odd that the part number doesn't steer them right to it. I did a quick google search and found this online source: http://www.bernardiparts.com/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=82410-SE3-C01

crude the next dealer is 2 hours away geeez why does dealers not know how to look up a part by a number you think all honda dealers would have the option to order a part if you have the number.

Yup, it's odd. Please see my post right above yours for an online source and another suggestion for getting the dealer to look it up. We cross-posted at the exact same time. :)

ok thanks I guess Im just using the wrong browser I was using just the IE search I forget about google. I found one on a Acura parts site but its way more then the one you listed. If I can get the part for less then $8 then I just get 2 of them. I just dont know where to put it. There sould only be 1 place to screw it in?

According to my LATCH manual, you should be able to retrofit the top tether anchor for each rear seating position in the Civic if you want to cover all of the possibilities. Assuming your Civic has 3 rear seating positions, then you could retrofit 3 tether anchors back there for the most flexibility when you're installing carseats.

I ordred 2 for now one for the center and one for behind the passenger my dh drives it and has to have the seat all the way back and there is no way getting any car seat behind the drivers side dd feet would have to be proped up on his seat shes got long legs there is not even an inch behind his seat. Thanks hopefully he can figure out where to screw them in.

The reason we can retrofit tether anchors in most vehicles is because they were required in Canada long before the US. I don't know for sure in the Civic, but it's likely that there are already holes on the shelf behind the rear seat. There may be plastic buttons carpet above the holes that you just pop out, or you may have to cut it to have access to the holes.
