I just bought the Recaro Signo and was just curious if the angel was right on this install RF. It's in a captain chair on a 01 Town and Country! Thanks much :)

I can't tell you about the angle but I have a question for you. I have the exact same seat installed in my Nissan Quest captains chair. With your installation, are you able to reach the pull strap for the harness adjuster?

It depends on the age of the child using it... can you provide the age/weight/height of the child?

Yes I can reach the tightening strap very easily actually :)
She is 6 mo, 17 lbs and about 26 inches long...thanks!

Yes, that angle is fine as long as her head doesn't flop forward when she sleeps. It needs to be 45 degrees for a newborn, but can be as upright as 30 degrees for an older baby or toddler with good head control.
The installation looks good to me as long as you have less than 1" of movement in any direction (front to back or side to side) at the beltpath. :)

Thanks everyone for your help :) just wanted to say we've had an opportunity to test it out a little and it's the perfect angle, there is no head drooping or anything! thanks again!

i'm getting 41.5 degrees. this assumes that your picture is perfectly level with respect to your van.
i hope you're happy with it! we have the signo RFing at about 31 degrees with our 18 month old (see that wonderfully sleeping head in my avatar :)). her head never flops!!!
also, as your DD grows, you can easily adjust the recline angle of the signo by altering the position of the seat before tightening the LATCH bar straps. notice the position of the straps along the bar. if you loosen them, then rotate the seat to a less reclined angle, and retighten the LATCH straps, they will sit closer to the end of the bar. hard to describe, but hopefully you'll get what i'm saying.
