Does anyone know how to install a tether anchor in the third row? I am looking for instructions - there are no specific instruction in the owners manual. Do you just screw in the new hardware? Do you have to tighten a bolt or put a washer on the other side?
Thanks!

I know in the 02 manual it tells you exactly how to do it. You have to torque them to the manufacturers specifications. I think others have said it was in thier manuals too for different years. Is it possible you may have overllooked it?

Yes, it is possible. I have been so overtired lately. I was reading it this morning. I remember reading about the torque. I remember reading about screwing the bolt into the welded nuts. That is about I can remember. I can't picture how you would be able to secure the bolt in the welded nut other than just screwing it in there tightly. How do you access the other side? (anchors are on the back tailgate sill.) Maybe I am just not thinking this through right. Dh has the van right now so I can't get the manual to check again.

If I recall correctly you do not need to access the other side. I did a seat check for someon with the 02, so I do not have the manual. It told how to move the TA's since there was only 1 in the center. SHe needed them outboard becuse it was inconvient to have the Tether strap going over the cargo bin when she needed to take her triple stroller in and out often. Definately check the manual again.

It's a lot easier than it seems... really super easy...the screw just goes into the nut to the right torque/poundage... :) (uh...my dh just screws it in by hand, is careful not to overtighten... :o)

I am glad you spoke up so she know. I know when I read the manual for the 02 it seemed very simple.
