Tether Anchor Locations

Does anyone know if a 1997 or 1998 Toyota Forerunner has tether anchors for a FF seat?

If so, where are they?

If not, can they be added?

It doesn't have factory installed top tether anchors, but can be retrofitted based on info. in the LATCH manual about retrofitting 1979-1999 Toyota vehicles, and the 4Runner isn't on the list of non-retrofittable Toyota models, whew. :) The LATCH manual indicates there should be info. about the exact location of the anchor points in the vehicle owner's manual. :thumbsup: All retrofittable Toyota models use the same retrofit kit, part number 73709-12010, called "Bracket Sub-Assembly, Tether Anchor," and retailing for approx. $12.00 through Toyota dealers. The kit is pre-assembled and has an 8mm bolt, anchor bracket, and spacer.
