The Roundabout slot is about an inch below Seths shoulders. This is make the starps cut into his neck.

What can I do about it? Can I use the pads from another Britax seat or not?

I wont use a sock b/c they are not thick enough to protect his neck . The straps still cut into his neck. he needs a thicker pad like on the Marathon

Thanks..

No, there are no harness pads for the RA. The best you can do is try to make sure his shirt is between the strap and his skin. If that isn't sufficient, then it's possible you're tightening the harness more than necessary. It needs to be tight enough that there is no slack and you can't pinch a horizontal line over the collarbone, but not so much that it causes the child to slouch or digs into his skin.

Yup Your right! LOL. was making them too tight. It is too hard to tell when they are so far below his shoulders.
Durh!!! Thanks!

Most kids are closer to the middle slots at age one than the lowest slots....in fact, he might be at them, and it looks like he's below them when you have it threaded in the bottom slots... might be worth checking... but yeah, not squooshing him down too hard (isn't it easy to tighten that harness? LOVE IT, but have to remind some strong dads not to crush their babies, lol) is probably key ;)
