Anyone know them? I looked on the baby trend website but the dimensions and weight are both blank. I'm mostly interested in length from front to back but width would be nice to know too. I have a 2002 full size Eddie Bauer stroller so if you could even just give me a general size comparison to that, that would be great. I'd be using it in the mall maybe once every 2-3 months (mall is 2hrs away).

Have you considered the Joovy Ultralight Caboose?

I'd like to keep it as cheap as possible. The mall is the only place I use a stroller, and like I said, that's maybe once every 2-3 months. It's not worth spending big bucks on something, kwim. I have a 4.5 yr old and a 3 month old. My oldest walks everywhere but does get tired/bored in the mall since I stay for hours.....being that far away, I make my trip worth it lol.

Aw man you know what would be awesome! If you could find a used Peg-Perego P3! That would be perfect! Then you have a regular sized stroller to deal with. Your 4 year old could just hitch a ride when needed. Check your local Craigslist for them. Sometimes they pop up. Just offer lower than what they are asking LOL! You could probably find one for cheaper than a new Sit N Stand. Plus it would give you a better push, smaller fold, and much higher seatback for little one. Oh, and not to mention a luxury stroller.. hehe

I'm in a dinky dinky little town with nothing like CL or Freecyle. Heck, the nearest Walmart is an hour away lol. Anyway, I've looked into the P3's and not really that impressed for the money (new and/or used). Also the board isn't that big and definitely not something my 4yr old would like to be stuck on for hours at the mall. If I could just find out the size of the Sit and Stand I think it would work for what I need. I just don't want to buy it and it be monsterous, kwim. I expect it to be bigger than my EB stroller but I do have my limits lol.

I've looked into the buggy boards too but that still means a new stroller. Plus $60-$70 for the buggy board alone is outrageous!! I just can't bring myself to spend much money for such little use but I do need something so I can take both kids to the mall alone and keep everyone happy for the duration.

Well phooey..I totally understand..

Just by looking at some photos online of the Sit N Stands they look to be about the same length as the Double tandem strollers (like your eddie bauer). If it was bigger, I wouldn't imagine it would be by very much. Can you link which one exactly you are looking to purchase? I know I saw one in person recently and that thing was a TANK!

My Eddie Bauer is a single stroller...not double ;). Here is the Sit and Stand on the Walmart website.

I *think* the pic on the box in the store is red/gray instead of green like the link. So either it's just a different color or maybe a different model/version.

Ok, I feel like an idiot now. The Walmart site has measurements

Product in Inches (L x W x H): 40.0 x 22.0 x 40.0

Ah, I saw "full-size" and assumed you had a double limo goin' on. :o

I wouldn't think that one would be very big. The one I saw was much larger. That design looks very similar to the Joovy Caboose. Gaw, if they would just make that front seat have a taller back, it would be nearly perfect!

I think that one will be just fine (size wise). I mean it's going to be bigger, but not by much in my opinion

Do you know anything about the regular Joovy Caboose? I just stumbled across one for the same price as the Sit and Stand. It's a couple inches shorter (front to back) and half inch narrower. I really like the parent tray on the S&S though but I could live without it the Joovy is that much better.

I would recommend the Joovy over the sit n stand. I like how stout and firm the Joovy feels. The new ultralights are a HUGE improvement over the regular caboose. They changed the bearings on the wheels in the front, and added a parent tray ($30 value). So now you don't have to buy that seperate.

The regular cabooses still sell very well. Great price point for parents that need that double stroller. You can also add the parent tray yourself, or buy something to clip on/velcro on. There are many companies now making stroller add-on accessories. Since alot of the foreign stroller (imported) do not come with huge baskets, cup holders.. and all the other things us US moms NEED, and want!

I just got a sit n stand off craigslist, and my 3 yr old loves it. He's tall- looks like he's 4 or 5- and has lots of room to stand/sit in back. The front seat really is a looooooow seatback, but the sunshade is up pretty high. Folded it fits into the trunk of our little car. I like it so far.

I would NOT reccommend the Sit and Stand at all. I tried one out at Babies R Us with both my kids in it and I could not steer that thing for anything. That thing is a Tank. It's really wide and just not good for stores period.

Thanks for the opinions. I'm still undecided as of now so feel free to keep those opinions coming. Oh and I'm not concerned about the seatback height...after 4.5 yrs I'm still not sure why that's a big deal lol. Care to share why the stroller obsessed mommas (no offense ;)) always bring that up as a pro/con about a stroller??

I'd guess for naps. Can't nap a child in the stroller if their head is over the top!
