Any alternative other than the Ultralight? I looked at it this weekend at a local B&M store. I tried the regular Joovy Caboose at BRU and it was impossible to manuever with the girls in it. Tea weighs about 25 pounds and Kaylie is about 37 pounds. I really need something that will accommodate both kids since Kaylie is lazy  and gets tired of walking. I usually end up putting her in the Volo and carrying Tea. That's getting old.

I think the weight limit is 45 pounds? Judging by the way Kaylie grows, it should last me long enough to get my money's worth out of it. And if it doesn't, I can always sell it.

But, I wasn't in love with the Ultralight. I so wanted to love it. I really, really did. But I wasn't. Not for the price. If it would have been in the $150 range, I would have sucked it up, but I just didn't really like it. I had such high hopes.

I also like the idea of that stand think that attaches to the back of the stroller, but I'm not wild about putting that on the back of the Volo. I love my Volo, but I wouldn't mind getting another stroller to accommodate the stand thing better. Maybe that's an alternative? But then, I really like the fact that she can sit with the Ultralight.

So my question is - are there any alternatives to the Ultralight? I'm not doing a double stroller. Completely out of the question. Kaylie's almost 5. Any suggestions?

I am not familiar with "Buggy Boards" at all, but that might work for your situation. Otherwise, here are some suggestions for you:

Valco Tri-Mode with Toddler Stand

Peg-Perego P3

The Buggy Board and Kiddie Board were discussed a little here (http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=27383). Sombody gave this link (http://www.buggyboard.info/category.php) that shows the compatibility of the Buggy Board with a whole bunch of different strollers. There might be more threads with more opinions, this is just the only one I've read so far :)

I used the valco buggy board on my Runabout and P3 and dd would sit crossed leg on it, she would never stand on it.
