So, I got a Maclaren Rally Twin over the weekend, for $120 off craigslist. I'm not in love with it yet.
The skins keep sliding off! Is there a better way to keep them on?
What is up with the sun shade? It doesn't connect at the top, so when I pull it down to keep their faces shaded, the back part of it either pulls over their heads or sits on top of their heads.

i thought this was going to be a thread about the new apple macs. :)
the skins should be held on by two strips of velcro on the top edges. at least, that's how they're held on 2007 version (triumph twin).

Oh, no, none of those in the house! We are in the heart of Microsoft country! :p
And thanks SPB, we do have the velcro strips but they don't hold very well. My DDs must be very squirmy because we have to fix them every 2 seconds.

hmm... we never adjusted ours all winter and spring (we removed them for summer). they just held. the harness and crotch strap should also help hold the cover in place, but the velcro is what ultimately keeps it from slipping down. we found at first that we weren't using all the velcro strip... it was a tight corner and we later learned that the strip was much longer and we had only been using about 1/3 of the velcro strip. maybe you're not using it all and that's why it's not holding?

If what SPB said doesnt' work, maybe you need to replace the velcro

I'm afraid it's a lost cause. I tried to love it, I really did. After 3 days in Disneyland and 2 flights I beleive we're passing it on down the craigslist line and scrounging some money for the Baby Jogger.
