Oye, I have no clue which to buy. I am hoping to keep it around $100-$200.
I *think* I will have to get a jogger type stroller, because the others seem to go 40#, maybe 50#..
I only need a single for my DD who is 3. 39 inches, 37#'s. I have been looking at the Manhattan Lite
http://www.joggingstroller.com/Dreamer-Design-Manhattan-Lite.pro
any other ideas?

Jogging stroller-style strollers will give you the biggest selection. :)
Maclaren's strollers go to 55 pounds (except the Techno XLR, which goes to 65 pounds).

The new Baby Jogger City Series Mini goes to 50 lbs :)
It is $199
super easy fold, and very compact. Easy push and 8inch wheels. Oh, and it only weighs 16 lbs
It also has a nice bubble hood with great sun protection.
I have a pix of the double in my siggie (the blue one ;) )

I tried to PM you but you have too many messages.. so I will just post here.
Thanks for the info. I really think I need something that has a higher weight limit though. :)
The one in the link above I can get for $169 on Amazon and it goes to 80#. I am not sure if it is a good seat or not.
Does anyone have pro's and con's to Air filled tires?

Just curious why you want/need an 80 lb weight limit? Is this for another child? Although it says 80lbs max weight I'm sure that is not for *just* the seat. That is combined weight between the rider and basket.
50lbs is a very high weight limit. By that time most children are out of the stroller phase.
Your 3 year old seems pretty typical in size so I would imagine it would take him/her a l long time to get to 50lbs. The problems is that even if the stroller can hold 80lbs, the child may not be able to fit.
Baby Jogger has one of the highest seatbacks on the market. Much higher than Dreamer Design.
Are you very tall? The Dreamer Designs are VERY tall and can be awkward for shorter parents. The fold isn't as great either :(
The Baby Jogger City Series has a 75lb rider limit. That is the highest of any jogger I know.

I don't necessarily want an 80# limit, but 50# seems to be in the too near future... (My son was 50# before his 5th birthday and my DD seems to be on the same growth track as he was.) I would like this stroller to fit her until she is 5 "ish" for when I walk for exercise. I can imagine possibly using it at the zoo occasionally, which is compacted dirt but for the most part it would be sidewalk. Another thing I am looking at is price... $199 is a lot for us.

This sounds great because DD is all torso.
I am 5 foot 6 inches.
I have been looking at the Maclaren Quest and Vilo... do you carry those? they go to 55#'s would that be a good fit?
Thanks in advance for you help :)

LOL I google Higher weight stroller and it brings me here! :p
I need a HW stroller badly. I need something with the following specs:
Aluminum frame, decently easy to fold
Big foot tray to keep ds from putting his large feet in the wheels
Higher handles (dh is 6 foot 4!)
Much higher weight limit. Ds cannot walk long AT ALL. We need a good bit of time left in weight limit if we're going to shuck out the money.
I like the 3 wheeled design. I saw one today and asked the parents what brand it was . They showed me the canopy and it was a One Step? Step one? Had 3 big wheels and was black and gold. They said it steered so great.
Any help? I need pics of things b/c I know nothing about strollers./:confused:

That's just the average cheapo BRU stroller you saw... nice, cheap, not terribly durable. Might want to look at the Maclaren Techno XLR (www.strollerqueen.com has a huge Maclaren Comparison page on her 'year of strollers' section)...it's not 3 wheels, but 65 pound weight limit, very large seat, very tall handles, and clearance pricing make it fairly attractive...not to mention Maclarens are known for their exceptionally easy push and fast fold.

You could consider something like this. This store also has mac quests on sale.

I have a quest and love it for shopping and all but for exercise I use my double jogger - a jogger is much easier to exercise with I think.

I just wanted to say, don't get the Dreamer Design if you have a tall-torsoed kid. My 2.5 year old is too tall for our Dreamer Design double, so I had to sell it. The sun shade was bonking her on the head. I just bought a used Maclaren Rally Twin and she has loads more room, and I would assume other Maclaren models have similar seat heights.

You guys are so smart
I will look through all those. He's so big he looks ridiculous in his strollers now.
So Instep is sold at BRU?
