Ok out of these strollers, which would you pick for a 21 month old 23 pound toddler? I can get the 2007 Maclaren Triumph for $125 at BRU since my younger cousin works there, so price on all 3 are basically the same.

What are the differences in the 2006 Quest and the 2007 Triumph?

I can hardly find any reviews on the Peg Perego Pliko Lite. Is it a lot different from the P3? P3 is way out of my price range...

ETA: Ok, I think I'm sold on the Quest, thanks for the help!! How does it look IRL? Has anyone seen that pink one before?

When/where will you use it?

I love, love, love Maclaren stroller. The pliko lite isn't very much like the P3, and it didn't sell very well which is why they aren't making it anymore. I voted for the quest, because IMO it is a nicer stroller than the Triumph. The Triumph is still a great stroller though and would work well with an older child. It does only recline 2 positions but for an older child that is probably fine. The Quest treclines 4 positions, one of them almost flat which might come in handy if you have another child down the road...

Mainly the mall and places like that. We do go outside often in the summer though, so it'd be nice if it worked well on grass. Other than that, no off roading or anything here!

If you like the P3, what about a Chicco c1 (http://www.albeebaby.com/chc1stinbl.html)?

Here is a comparison (http://www.strollerqueen.com/)of the P3 and the Chicco1 (it is about half way down the page).

Here is what the reviewer had to say about the two strollers, there are also more comparison picture on the link I added above.

"I'm comparing the Chicco CT O1 to the P3, because they are quite similar. And because the Chicco, while wildly popular in Europe, is nowhere near as well-know here. It has all the features of the P3 that we've come to know and love, including the snack tray, cupholder, full canopy, rear footboard for an older child to ride on, and an umbrella fold. You fold it basically the same way, by pulling up the handle triggers, and yanking the back loop. Both stand on their own when folded.Overall, it is a slightly larger and heavier stroller, (weighs 2 pounds more than the P3), with bigger wheels, and a flatter recline, which makes it better for newborns. And Chicco's "KeyFit" infant seat snaps right in. But it also has a lower footrest than the P3, which gives longer-legged children more room. It also has some other extremely unique features. The Chicco (that's "Key-koe", by the way) has rotating handles, which makes it very easy to steer one-handed. Not quite as good as a Mac, but almost! And the handles fold on top of themselves for easier storage. It has an adjustable suspension, down by the wheels, which makes it the bounciest umbrella stroller ever. It glides over sidewalk cracks, with a lot less "rattles" than the P3. It comes with a raincover that is very easy to attach, but best of all, it has a "portaombrelli", or umbrella holder, lol! Love this gadget! Best of all, it retails for at least $50 less than the P3. The Chicco C1 is tough to find, but well worth the effort."

DD has to be 100% upright when there is a tray in front of her. The Chicco one isn't upright enough I don't think. If the tray is removable though, I don't see an issue. She's fine being reclined as long as there is no tray. I guess she just wants to see everything!
So, can the tray be removed?

I would get the quest over the triumph.

My only grip about the triumph is that the folding mechanism is just a buckle that holds the seat upright so when you need to put the seat up it takes two hands and quite a bit of effort. The quest has one handed fold.

Other than that, I LOVE my triumph and have had it since DS was 8 months old.

The only other diffrences seem to be the quest has a Storage pocket on back of hood, Extendable leg rest, and a rain cover.

I thought it sat as upright as the P3, or at least when I was looking at it I thought so. Also I do believe that the front bar is removable.

The wheels on the regular Pliko are better for rougher terrain, but I don't know how the Lite compares. Otherwise, the Quest is probably what I'd go with.

Well, I really wanted to vote twice. I'd be torn between the 2 Macs, but would probably go with the Quest.

You can get a Quest for the same price as a Triumph? Get the Quest, then! The Quest is GREAT!

I have a Quest and I really like it! And I got lucky - it was a return so it was marked down to $99!! It is super easy to push and steer and the recline is enough for them to sleep. The basket is useless if the seat is reclined, but that's ok with me! I just have to remember to take my purse out before I recline the seat, so I can still shop while baby sleeps! Good luck and enjoy your new toy! I love buying baby stuff!

Does the Chicco C1 have a canopy that can fold all the way down to the snack tray like the P3? This was the biggest feature I wanted from the P3.

I think I'm about to order one but really the canopy can go all the way down to the snack tray and totally cover the baby if you wanted? It doesn't do this in the demo on the Chicco website. It looks like a great stroller and so affordable! Is $129 from Albee the best price do you think?

What are Japanese brands and where can I find one? If only DH's family still lived there. He spent 5 years in Tokyo growing up.
