my girls grandparents owns a 2000 Jeep Cherokee - this model has no backseat headrests - yikes! I have found information on car-safety.org indicating children should be in full boosters when headrests are not available. Fine for my yougest BUT my older daughter is nearing not needing a car seat at all (height/weight) and the seat on the full booster is short and hurts her legs...
Looking for any leads on information on boosters for larger kids, replacement seats with headrests for Jeep? or any experience with this matter in Jeeps or other vehicles. Thanks!

First, let's get some basics: how old is your older daughter, how tall is she, and how much does she weigh? What highback booster is uncomfortable for her? There are many models out now that might be more comfy for her. :)

Some kids who still pass the 5 Step Test (the only true way to know if a child doesn't need a booster) often still fit the Britax Parkway because it adjusts so high & lack of armrests don't squeez hips -- then just use something as a foot rest.... We've used the following: empty styrofoam or cardboard box, bag stuffed with balloons, rolled up old comfortor (others have used pool noodle with rope attached to unused LATCH anchors)
