I need to get an inexpensive double stroller, right now I have a safety1st jogger from my 11 m/o DS and an umbrella stroller.
DS1 is 11 months and about 20lbs, he's not walking yet, DS2 is 2 weeks old, and not quite 7lbs.
Right now when I go out, I put DS2 in a snugli, and prefer to use the bigger stroller for DS1, as it's more steady.
I don't drive and we live in Northern Alberta, so the stroller must be durable, and sturdy, with big wheels to go through snow, as my town does not keep the walking paths very clean during the winter.
Unfortunately every decent double stroller I've seen is over $500 and we realy can't afford that much, even 2or3hundred will be a big stretch for us.

Hey! I'm in Northern AB, too ;)

Anyhoo.. How about the double joggers @ Babies R Us? I think they're called the expedition? They were $279.99. Or I saw the new Quattro double which was $299.99 .. loved that one.
Those are my suggestions because of the snow factor & your price range. If you can find a Phil & Ted's for cheap on usededmonton or kijiji I think that'd work best, though. That's what we have and it braves the elements awesomely!
