how important is it too you?
i dunno.. i keep reading about it being such a perk for people. meanwhile i couldn't care less  i don't ever take the kids out (of the truck/house/whatever) until the stroller is unfolded (and put together *ahem* e3 haha) .. so I can't see why a one handed fold would be such a neccesity for me.

i think i personally prefer the one hand OPEN as well as the one hand CLOSE! :)
I think it's about lifestyle. If you ride the bus, metro, etc it's a MUCH NEEDED item to make life easier for you - because you already have one child in your arms, along with parcels, etc. makes it easier, ya know?
something i do/did a LOT was get out of car, get child out of car seat, then proceed to trunk. Open trunk (notice child is in my arms) and then pull out stroller. Give a shake while flipping the right handle and the stroller is open. tap your foot on the lock to keep stroller safe and secure and place child in stroller.
took longer to explain it than it does to do it, lol.
Returning to the vehicle, you open trunk, take child out of stroller and while holding child in your arms - and it's probably pouring down rain now, lol, you reach down, pull the closing handle (same thing you tap with your foot when you open it) and voila, the stroller is now closed.
You stuff it in trunk, close lid, run around to car door and put child in seat. :)
then you get in car and drive away. . . .
does that help why I love my inglesina zippy so much? My almost 4 yr old fits in it great still.
does that help? :)

It's not such a big deal for me. Whenever I ust my Mac Twin Techno I leave the kids in their car seats until I have the stroller open and loaded with our stuff.

It's not a "must have" feature, but I certainly appreciate it on my Maclaren Concorde. It's not about dealing with the kids so much as dealing with my purse, diaper bag, etc. I usually want to put anything else in the trunk *after* the stroller goes in, so it's nice to be able to hold my bags in one hand and fold and lift the stroller with the other.
The two handed fold doesn't stop me from using my Pliko, though, when the situation warrants.

It is nice to have, but it's not THAt big a deal. I have to say I enjoy it though! It's one of the many reasons I use my Volo more often than I use my jogger.

My everyday stroller isn't a one handed fold. I've never missed it. I take the stroller out of the trunk and unfold while kiddos are still in car seats. And I put them into their car seats with the stroller parked next to the car, then fold the stroller & into the trunk it goes.
I don't ever park on the street or use public transportation. I can see where it would be useful if you do.
