I had a dad come in with a MA for a 9mth old little girl. We installed center position using lower anchors (has LATCH in all 3 positions) & a pool noodle.
The vehicle is pretty much all covered in plastic and I wasn't about to try to remove any of it to find a rf tether location. I know Britax discourages the use of a pool noodle but I had no other option since the seat was way to upright for her. I really want to find a rf tether point since this is a truck and if it rebounds she will hit the rear window. Does anyone know a good rf tether point for this vehicle?

The most recent version of the MA manual (http://britaxusa.net/support/documents/guide_marathon.pdf) actually suggests using a pool noodle or rolled towel to adjust the rf recline (second to last point in the notes on pages 11, 13 and 15). I think they made that change as a result of damage being caused by overtightening the rf tether. Bases were breaking and getting stuck in recline mode and the rip stitching of the energy absorbing tether can be broken if you pull on it too hard.

Glad to hear they allow noodles now. This was a '05 model as it was big sisters and being passed down to little sister. But, I still want to find a rf tether location b/c this is a pick up truck and the back window really makes me nervous. Plus I am sure I will see this vehicle again and would like to know of a good safe location for future referance too.
