I am trying to install a Regent in a 2006 Hyundai Tuscon. The seatbelt is too short to do it long belt path. I wanted to try latch, but I only see one latch connector on the inside of the car. Is that right or is there another one hiding somewhere?
I am going to re-read the instruction manual...I don't have latch in my 95 windstar, so I was planning to install via LBP for this one, too.

One latch connector? maybe you're seeing a top tether anchor? Give the manual a read, it should clarify everything (and how 'too short' is the seatbelt? like 6 inches, or like 2 inches? usually some extra weight on the seat will make a seatbelt long enough to fit the LBP, but not if it's 6 inches too short, lol)

It's definitely more than two inches too short...I had my knee in it, and had the seatbelt as far as it would go. I'm gonna have to try again tomorrow. The latch instructions have me confused...so I'll try the seatbelt again first, and move on to latch if I can't get it at all. It does have top tether anchors behind the seat, so if I have to do short belt path, at least it will be more stable with the tether.

I up until febuary had a 2006 tuscon and had my regent installed in it.. there are 2 sets of latch connectors in the seat.. both are outboard but they are there.. I remember them being a bit further back in the seat.. or deeper in the seat.. but they are there...
I now have a 2007 elantra and my seat belt does the long belt path on the regent..I wonder why the tuscon seat belt wont..
