So I got a pliko off of ebay about a month ago after hearing tons of good things about it and finding a pattern I love and I've decided I don't like the stroller itself. I'm just not a mall person, if I'm using my stroller I'm outside walking around on rough terrain and apparently the pliko is not good for that. Add to that the basket is a pita to get into and I just don't like it. So now I need recommendations for a new stroller. I'll probably resell the pliko so I'll get some money out of that but I don't want to spend a ton more. I don't jog so I'm not interested in a jogging stroller but I do need something that can handle some weight as Dallas does like to ride in the stroller sometimes. I really like the queen b but I just can't justify the price for that. I need something with big wheels and a basket but isn't going to cost me an arm and a leg.
And I'm in the boonies so basically the only thing they sell around here high end is peg and maclaren so I don't have alot of options for trying things out.

Jogging stroller doesn't necessarily mean they are for "jogging". I would say you need a stroller with air tires. Those typically come on "jogging" type strollers.
There are several strollers that are in the "jogging stroller" category, but aren't meant for jogging. In fact, the companies tell you NOT to jog with them LOL!!
So look for a stroller with air tires. What is your budget? Are you looking for a Single or Double?
Air Tires are good for concrete, cracks, crevices, offroad (gravel, snow, woodchips, chip 'n seal, etc..). Anything other than air tires, just don't handle very good, and can make a crummy ride for baby.

My favorite '4x4' stroller is my Peg Perego Caroline Pram. I got lucky and found mine on eBay (NIB) and got it for a fraction of the cost. It has 4 fixed air filled wheels and is perfect for out on our farm. I keep the P3 for drs offices and shopping.

My Mountain Buggies (Urban and Breeze) are divine even for walking on new sidewalks... they are super spendy, but if you wanna talk solid, well constructed, and easy to care for, look no further (I crammed my 8 yo in the Urban for an evening walk the other night and it was still super easy to push). www.returnsforsale.com (http://www.returnsforsale.com) often has great deals.
But I think the Baby Jogger City Series is also SO nice (I just have no reason to buy one, I LOVE my Mountain Buggies so much!)

you should check out the regular baby jogger strollers. They hold up to 70lbs and have great all terrain tires.
