Ok, so I thought my troubles would be over if I got 2 radians, surely I could puzzle 3 seats in my 01 honda civic. Wrong! I can't seem to get a 3rd seat in, here is what I have to work with....

2 radians- brand new, arrived today
cosco scenera
britax Marathon

I need 2 FF and 1 RF

I tried the radians FF on the outboard positions, but nothing fit in the middle. I can get a FF Radian, RF Radian in the middle, but still nothing worked on the other outboard. Any ideas? I guess if I got another Radian I would be fine, but that's alot of money, 2 seats are for nanny kids, 1 yr and 3yr, and the 3rd for my 5 yr old ( princess radian of course:)

If I can fit 3 seats in my car, I will save LOTS of money in carpooling ever day vs. driving Grandma's mini van. I know people have posted success on 3 in a row for smaller cars.... I am just puzzled as to how one does that?

Thanks so much!

Isn't there someone here who has three across in their civic? 2 Britaxs and a Radian.

I dont know if you tried this 2 FF Radians outboard and middle (next to each other)then the RF on the other outboard behind passenger (so you could move the seat up if no one sits there)?

Try ff'ing MA/ff'ing Radian/rf'ing Radian (driver/center/passenger) The Radian and the MA puzzle great when they're both ff'ing because the Radian will slide right under the edge of the MA. Getting the rf'ing radian next to it shouldn't be too hard.

Your next best bet - & I'm not sure of the age/size of 1 of the ff'ing kiddos, so this may not work, but you could try either ff'ing radian/ff'ing radian/rf'ing scenera, or ff'ing radian/rf'ing radian/ff'ing scenera or ff'ing scenera/ff'ing radian/rf'ing radian. (I'm not sure if the scenera & radian will puzzle better with one being rf'ing & one ff'ing, or with them both being ff'ing, so it may be a bit of trial and error.)

The scenera is fairly narrow, so I'm sure between the 2 radians and the scenera you should be able to get them to fit, especially if you have the 2 radians side by side. And you might even be able to get the MA to work provided you have it right next to the ff'ing radian. :)

Thanks for the ideas, i will have to try the FFMA/FF Radian/RF Radian.... i don't think I tried that yesterday. the trouble seems to be that my backseats outboards have this nice curve to the seat, making it hard to fit anything there with room still for the middle. Right now I have FF radian/ RF Radian/ and nothing on the other outboard.... but that's only 2 seats, and I really need 3 my tomorrow morning for my nanny kiddos, or its back to grandma's mini van :(

i will post back with pictures later this afternoon. i am so grateful for this forum board to help parents out!

Your DD is a cutie! As long as your FF MA and your FF Radian are tight independently, then it looks good to me! That's how my MA and Radian look overlapping. As for cover damage--I have no idea, but I can't see how it would hurt it.

Thank you! Even though she is coughing up a storm today, she had no problem posing for my pics. The Radian was put in first, really easy solid install with seatbelt since DD is 42#. Next came the MA, and it seems to not quite touch the radian on the whole side just sit really close over the radian's side, it also seems really solid. I have just never had seats this close so wanted to make sure i did it right. I installed the RF radian with Latch, so easy to tighten.

Do you have something under the Princess Radian??? I can see something white on the same side as the MA.
