Thanks in advance for helping me out! I posted earlier with some install ?s. I feel like I got a tight install using long path LATCH in my 03 Lexus GX 470 SUV. Kiddo isn't sitting in the seat, but the harness slots are right at his shoulders on this setting.

My only concern is how the recline bar is sitting right on top of the latch connector. It may be hard to see in the pic I took. Also, is it ok that I used the long path install but went under the cover, not over it, on the sides?

Our next local check isn't until Nov 6th, so I just wanted some opinions here until then. Thanks so much for all the help!

Also, I had to remove the headrest from behind the seat so it wouldn't push the Regent forward. That's ok, isn't it? We have the Apex in our 2nd car, so the headrest thing is always in the back of my mind.

....which makes me wonder... Britax KNOWS LATCH is 11 inches apart, so why would they make the Recline bar wider than that? (Well, because LATCH was always Short Path until lately, I guess...)...
I think it looks ok, the button's not getting pressed on, the latchplate for the LATCH isn't pushed on (so it won't loosen)...If the LATCH strap came under the cover in the first place, you're fine (most of us just do it over the cover for simplicity when we add it on to the seat, I think). If it's staying nice and tight, you're fine :)
