My 24mo. old is a big boy but definitely needs another stroller, he is too big for our Chicco C5.

I don't mind a full-size stroller (so weight does not bother me), I would love to get a peg pliko 3, but they're pricy. Are there any alternatives that are similar but less expensive? We are ttc so we will use it for another child (God willing). I noticed that the Graco Quattro tour goes to 50lbs, is it a decent stroller?

TIA.

My favorite higher-weight stroller is the Maclaren Techno XLR, which has a 65-pound weight limit. It is even more expensive than the P3 though.

I have the Graco Quattro Tour Duo (double stroller) and love it! I'm sure the single one would be nice as well

Even 'regular' macs, like the Volo and Quest, go to 55 pounds. www.strollerqueen.com has a slew of them on the stroller o the month section, and www.albeebaby.com sells them cheap. You just have to decide if you want a minivan (quattro tour) or a wee sports car (maclaren)...each one has it's purpose and use (I think the seatback height on the QT is really short, though? not sure it's a great choice for a big 2 yo?)

My quatto tour was great! I bought the duo though and did not like it. I felt like my DD was going to slide out of the front seat and the seat back on the rear seat sagged so I knew as my DS got bigger he would also get uncomfortable. It really does have great potential as a full sized double though. I was really sad to return it because I loved the steering and how you could hang lots of stuff on it and the parent cup holders were great and the underneath storage was great too. Anyway, sorry to get OT. I really did like my quattro tour single though. It IS pretty large and heavy, it wasn't fun to lift when I was 9 months pregnant. At that point I was really wishing I had gotten a P3 or Mac.

We used a Quattro, but it was 3 years ago. I did like it but it was big- and I wanted something smaller.

I love our Mac Volo- super lightweight and comfy for both my kids.

I second the vote for a Mac Volo.
