Does anyone know where the tethers are in the second row of an '01 Expedition? My son will be riding with my friend to trick-or-treat Sunday and I want to make sure he's safe.

Also, is there any advantage to using the Airway over the ff RA? I'd have to double check to make sure my DS is still under 40 lbs but I know he fits under the top slots of the RA. I know the Airway fits in her truck but it's a real pain to reinstall in my car.

Thanks!

For the 2000-2002 Expedition, my LATCH manual says there are webbing loops on the back of the second row seat for center and outboard position. In the third row, there is a tether webbing loop for the center seat only.

The tethers are on the seat back...they are these little nylon loop things that sometimes get stuck underneath the seat when you move the seat back forward...they have velcro on them so you can stick them to the back of the seat. I have actually installed my kids' carseats (really nice and tight) and forgotten to make sure the loop was sticking out so I couldnt tether them, I'd have to take the seats out and install them all over again. It frustrates the hell out of me. :-D
