Or maybe it was another one of those similar shows. Anyway, a camera crew happend to capture police trying to free a baby from a hot locked car. 9 months old I think. The mother was in the pharmacy department when she noticed police activity and suddenly remembered her baby in the car and they showed her running out in hysterics and the police trying to calm her down. Very hard to watch. Then they went on to talk about the rise in parents leaving their kids in the car without remembering they are there. The baby was ok btw. Hot and red but alive and alert. They said she had been there 20 minutes or so.

I didn't see it, but I can't help but wondering how busy are people that they can forget their kids so easily. It's horrible. How can a person really be SSOO distracted that they forget about their own child? I don't understand it.....

I saw it, it was sad! I too can't understand how someone can forget their child in the car. THey were saying on the show that it's a good idea to take a stuffed animal with you and have it on the front seat as a visual reminder that your child is with you.
