A number of posts regarding items for sale or trade have been deleted in the last few weeks. To be fair to our donors, sponsors and senior community members, we only allow such posts in certain areas. You can find information on this in most of the forum announcements and sticky threads or in this post:

http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=26521

If your post was deleted, please accept our apologies. Moderators and admins will generally remove any post with content resembling a for sale or trade advertisement if made outside the appropriate forums. That applies even if the poster was unaware of the rules or had no intent to bend the posted guidelines.

Thank you!

Good advice from another CPS forum:

Hello fellow CPS advocates,

Some recent incidents on this list, and another CPS
discussion forum, have led us to send this cautionary
email to the members of the CPSP List.

If you are asked to send video or photos of children,
please consider the following before complying:

1) Do you know the sender/requesting party?

2) Could the sender get their requested photos or
video from some better source (such as the CSS
manufacturer)?

3) Would you mind if the pics or video you sent ended
up on the web, visible to anyone?

4) Does the request make you uncomfortable or seem
overly personal/unusual?

Please use caution when sharing personal information
and images.

If you receive any requests that you find to be unusual or inappropriate, please forward the request to me via PM or email at webmaster@car-seat.org . If you hear of similar requests for information on other CPS forums, please notify their moderators immediately.

Please be advised that registered users, particularly new members, may be banned without warning for unwanted requests regarding personal information, photos or videos. Photos, videos and files submitted to Car-Seat.Org may not be used or reproduced without permission of the user who submitted the original file.

Thank you!
